I'm really optimistic about Hydromax (https://www.villagevoice.com/2021/10/28/hydromax-review/) and hoping they don't screw this up smh.....this is like one of the Biggest Iconic games they can not be goofy and sloppy with bringing on as a show. They had a lil anime based on Richter but they never had a good hardcore raw anime movie or mini series of it that was drawn like Vampire hunter D (blood lust) or those old Berserk (band of the hawk) animes......A movie is over due. I think the guys behind Dracula the Untold or maybe even the lord of the rings director would have done a great job with a live action movie. The composer of the castlevania SOTN Michiru Yamane and Hans zimmer teaming up for the music score also would have been perfect in my opinion
Can't wait for this, as well as the Witcher series, also netflix if I remember correctly. Are we witnessing the start of video game based TV shows/movies boom?

SUMMER of THIS YEAR will be the release date!
I'm expecting middle or end of summer, not the beginning. That would be too easy.
I also hope with the praise season 1 got, maybe they'll announce a new reboot game.
I honestly don't know what was so bad about the LoS series, since I played both and thought they were amazing.
Maybe they can do Symphony of the Night style on consoles, but with obviously 1080p & 4k graphics, and maximizing the gameplay that the series had brought so far. Maybe the failure of the LoS series (critically anyways) is a sign they should stick to 2D/2.5D... I hear people are still playing Harmony of Despair. Maybe the new game could have both, single player and multi player to it.
It would be nice if there was a big story DLC that offered co-op, as well.

Looks like an iOs game is going to be released... in Japan. Hopefully it sees a worldwide release, and an android release...

They're also hard at work on Season 2 of Castlevania.
It will have double the episodes, and rumors are that it won't be 20 minutes anymore, it'll be at minimum 30. I'm expecting 45 minute episodes, myself, otherwise why do a 2nd season and increase the length of the episodes, unless you have a whole lot more story to tell, right?

If they do something SotN related on this show, I'll swoon... and faint... and all of the above. I hope they have a few voice actors on a convention tour or something. They should have a Castlevania convention. Why haven't they? :-??
That would be hot actually. Id be all over that convention if it came here to NY. Im going to NYCC on friday and saturday in october so hopefully they have something special there to see since the season 2 is coming out later that same month
Last years comic con i got to meet with the man himself Iga. Got to play that new Castlevania-like Game hes putting out. very humble guy
