I don't have a finished sprite as of yet. But I plan on starting soon, and I'm also already planning the attacks and hypers. I'm usually strict about taking suggestions, but any are welcome. I don't intend on procrastinating AT ALL.not to be busting your balls but then you should have announced this wip when you have stuff to show. rather then saying im starting soon. oh well lol the same was said to me when i started Axl. I had nothing to show and was saying id start soon. In the end i finished Axl. What im saying is i look forward to what you have in store for us.
I'll tell you what. I can display a base sprite this Saturday and you guys can tell me what you think. I currently am unable to start now, but I can definitely whip up a sprite on Saturday. Heck, I can guarantee it. Just give me a little more time.

I know some day you will make him crouch, block, etc. for the Mugen requirement. First off, you will start showcasing. But if you feel like you want to have it as a WIP then you're welcoming to do so. The sprite is all up to you. And I wish you luck for it. Spriting is tough, including shading. But you never have to give up on what you need.

-The canon look too different from the original canon he has. (you have also exchange the arm with the canon)

Sadly your Yamato Man isn't a full character :( I agree with this tip, it also makes work faster because you don't need to redraw same torso again and again for each arm movement in same position of it etc.
All right then. You're right; every time I look at the sprite I see something wrong, especially with the legs, chest, and cannon. I'm working on those now, and I'm redoing the spritesheet. (I can't make GIF animations as of yet. But the sheet will give you an idea of how he moves.)

FINALLY! After tedious, strenuous work, I have finally completed the run! YES!! (Mind you all, there are tons of inconsistencies that I can fix in the future, but this is it! And, the reason why Searchman runs with the top half looking the same for each sprite is partly because I got lazy, and partly because I wanted him to have a militant run, like Searchman.EXE. So he holds his cannon in his hand for every sprite.)and I am happy for you. I'll animate it when I get home. if you don't mind :o

I need help! I started importing my sprites onto the RMM template in Fighter Factory Ultimate. Since I converted my bitmap sprites into PCX sprites, it was easy. But I can't get rid of the purple background, and when I modify the pallette, the sprites get messed up! What do I do???
By the way, finished the foward dash a few days ago. Took 10 minutes.
Before adding sprites you need to add all the colors to the pallet of the character. See if this helps you. :)
Step 1 is open your searchman sprite.
Step 2 will put his colors in the bottom right box. Then you can select all his colors.
Step 3 you select the same amount of boxes on the left side and click the butt on to move the colors over.
Then save the pallet.
Now you can add all of your sprites with the correct colors.
Add pallet to all sprites, then you can add the sprite into the character.

I'm not talking about a palette, I'm talking about the shading or the light going on the character to create depth on a 2D drawing. You must add some colors on your palette to create a shading.

As much as I like the shading, I'm gonna stick with the cannon. Honestly, I kinda think I'm far enough ahead to not go back and change too much. The cannon will be changed, but everything else is staying the same. I'm trying to keep the shading on the body close to the MvC Megaman style, mixed with Searchman's actual shades, which is why the shading on the legs and body isn't as detailed. I do appreciate the help, don't get me wrong. I'm just very impatient and I wanna continue with what I've got.^^(PM)^
