The best would be to use the immediate next darker color of the skin zone:
Eg : skin have 5 colors (?) 1 to 5 (lighter to darker)
in skin zone 1, use color 2 for the dots
In skin zone 2, use color 3...
...

One thing I hope you can fix is that I think the time where he enters his second phase should be a bit more specific than what Wu has. Like only have him transform if you've won a match. Because I think it'd feel cheap to bring it up after he wins round 1.

That hyper being available on a public version of Superman would draw so many more users to playing Mugen

Hey guys, nice video and sprites. I really like the flying and slide kicks.... the jaw closing for the acid spit/bite attacks is really interesting and refreshing!
Nitpicking:
- Dash back has his helmet tail pointing the left side of the screen, instead of working as a cape (0:28);
- I would decrease the tail's first part width by 1 or 2 px for the sprite at 0:30, it is a charge sprite with a slightly thicker tail than the rest of the character sprites I see in the video;
- I see the third section of the tail is more cylindric and longer than the rest, but some sprites have it equally divided or more shaped as a cone.

Not exactly free. But I do give him free reigns on what he does with him. Progress is always good. But I won't be that guy who is going to push "O" to release Nightwing as soon as possible.

Preview of the new playable character in the project Robot Master Mayhem: Metal Man. The images were made by Laspacho and I'm reprogramming this character from scratch.
Very nice, really. I think these characters have a lot of 'tude. I love the googly eyes in Metalman's gethits.
Airman: although I see dash/blur sprites for his punches (which are very MvCish, so kudos to Laspacho), I don't see the "stretch" effect in the collision sprites in his kicks, almost a standard in CPS2/Neo Geo games. I think one extra sprite in the push back kick with a stretchy leg and a transition in recovery could improve the animation (he keeps his leg in the same position for about >1 sec in the video).
Metalman: again, the googly eyes take the cake. I think it's one of those cool details that add a lot of character - same thing I got from the Snake Man bite attack too. I think a spark effect for his hug throw and whenever blades touch the floor/opponent would be nice (please see Buzzsaw Babe in Shadow Dancer - https://www.spriters-resource.com/genesis_32x_scd/shadowdancer/sheet/25453/ (https://www.spriters-resource.com/genesis_32x_scd/shadowdancer/sheet/25453/)). Another option for the saw throw is to have an option in which it is thrown upwards (anti-air) in variable arches and have it come back like a yo-yo, cutting the ground... or have it being stuck to the ground, spinning, and activate momentum with a certain key/button (kind of Kung Lao's fatality in those 3D MKs). The twist gethit could use a rotation effect to save the need of 2 additional sprites for a full twist impression, maybe you will make it a standard for all chars - I only remember seeing this animation in Metal Man in the video. Dr. Willy's facetime could get a touch up too - the black outline and uneven shading sticks out for me. Perhaps making it a blue/green hologram could decrease this and would save the need of reshading his animation.

Jesus, this is an amazing set of coding. If you don't mind my asking, does that mean you created three separate set of character sprites and coding? I don't think I've heard of many (if any?) characters in MUGEN because of the effort involved in creating just ONE character.

Thanks. No, in fact both modes A and B are the same - the only change on the sprites is at his idle animation, and all his animations are the normal ones. The mode C is where things get tricky - Using a variable, I can controll the animation change and since each mode triggers a different variable, I can check that value and change the animaion:Code: [Select][State 0, ChangeAnim]

I agree.... but what I will say is that I haven't really seen many edits put out there of O's DC or Marvel chars if any. I have seen edits of RMM chars though but everyone knows who the original author is.
