MKvsSF3 Chameleon - v1.01 update

What's in this release...
- All Basics
- All Specials
- All Supers (including the lvl3 brutality super)

What's to come in future updates...
- AI...
- Altered .sff file (so people can make more palettes)
- Akuma Moves (basically air hadou-ken & RAGING DEMON!!)

Known Issues...

- No more than one palette can be made due to the .sff file...
- Some hitsparks may be out of place...
- Acid Spit needs to be adjusted still...

Some Feedback

-Sounds are kinda quiet
-Failed transparency (black stuff around it) on jelly-ball move and it explosion   
-When doing the freeze move command twice...it freezes himself

+ Very nice character overall  :thumbsup:

That was actually in the original Sub-Zero by Mike Obrecht... and I decided to keep the code... It's called "Double Ice Backfire".

It should work just fine... just go to my site... and click on the .rar link (no right-clicking allowed) .... Maybe you right-clicked and thats where you got stuck... it might take a while to load, too...

@TDZ: I don't know what to tell you... should work... it seems to be working for everyone else... maybe you should try re-starting your computer or something...

Video's up btw. I couldn't wait to release him... so that's why I did release him before showing the video.

well after testing him out. I do have to say his combo's seems to be non-existant....
if you could combine the MK-style Dial-a-combo and fit it with a loose MVC-type combo system
I'd feel that's be much more what where looking for (IMO)

thanks for the release of the char its nice to see some more Mk chars on mugen that are good  :)

a lil feed back because thats all I got to play is like 5 mins

-intro needs more frames cuz its kinda choppy
-the char need to be a lil faster (that could just be me lol)
-sprites are very nice
-plays pretty solid

ok everyone... Chameleon mirror is up... Aerial combos are actually existant in this v1.01 update... If you find that the combos are already ok... don't download... if opposite.. go to my site and download the mirror....

Yeah... I got the sounds from the MO chars... so it's very limited.. but I do think I missed putting in quite a few sounds... so... I'll work on that for the v1.1 update...

Kept a long eye on this one! A big fan of ATTICE'S works!  Now just add the ice clones and the supers from the flash and you have a sure fire winner here and finally a real and the best Chameleon for Mugen!

Well... originally I didn't want to put the multi-air ice clones special into the character... but since everyone wants it... why not... :-??

It'll probably be implemented for the v1.2 update... because coding it will take time... unless someone else wishes to code it (PM me if you do..), then it will be available for the v1.1 update...

Why didn't I put in fatalities?? Good question... My answer is... I think supers are easier to code, and I think getting more experience in coding supers will better prepare me for the future.

Hope I answered your questions to the fullest... again... an update will come in late november or sometime in december.... :-??

Sorry to Bump.
Just some feedback:
-The Sprites look a lil bit bad on the sides (i dont if its just me :P )
Maybe i can ask Proxicide for the sprites if you want?  :-??
-That green energy ball is too big ( I remember it was a lil smaller that this)
-Sounds should be louder (IMO)
-That flame Attack goes too fast (it has the right animations and sprites but it just goes too fast)
-Like there is already said it needs more sounds.
Sould I ask Proxicide for the sounds too?
-He needs to have a Dash move/intro like in the flash (IMO)
-He is missing the sprites for when the Cpu/P2 performs a throw attack to him.
-He should have some sprites/sounds for when the ice breaks.

Congratulations Atice, This char is really good for a v.1.0 Release :thumbsup:

Finally got back on da internet.... hard to do that when on vacation.... lmao....

Anyways...

The sprites are fine... almost all of the character sprites are from Proxicide, himself... I had to make a few of my own, though, like the duck turn sprites...

sound volumes have been noticed already...

I am still working on the green gellyball sprites... will be fixed for a later update...

dash move/intro....??? his run is fine... what dash.... maybe for a custom intro. he could dash his way into the screen... :-??

I thought there was sounds for when the ice breaks... I'll check that out later...

Anyways... I get home on Monday, so... I'm going to enjoy being back home, and then I'll get to work on the update... :)

the only thing I really think needs a quick fix is how high the upper-cut sends them,
wayyyy too high, other then, (for now as he is)

will take that into consideration... it was supposed to be intended as an air combo launcher.. but until I get that working properly... I think I'll decrease the heigth on that for the next update....

Let me know of anything else wrong... because I will probably be doing a small update soon...

Also, my next WIP topic will be coming late THIS MONTH... I want him to be known soon... :-??

well if you ask me i think your character is great fulient but

i think the combos and the interlinking fighting ect hes to slow and i hope u speed him up

he kinda dont play like the flash and there sum missing sprites

I just wanted to say:
There is a character named Dragon Soul.
That character contains some moves from Chameleon from the Mortal Kombat Vs Street Fighter Flash.
But the most important is: He got that ice clone move, He can make multiple Chameleon ice clones, like in the flash.
Maybe you want that code?
Because i remember your Chameleon only can make one ice clone.
I will send you that character later this day if you want :)
If you already fixed this issue in this Update then nevermind :P

Missing sprites?? I inputted all of them for the v1.0 release.... The only reason when people throw him and he's basically invisible... is because there are NO THROW SPRITES.... because Chameleon doesn't have a throw...

Also, the only reason I changed the topic to v1.01 update was because I forgot to when I made the update... the update is the mirror link (sendspace) ....

Um... for the next update... I plan on re-doing the .sff file .... so that I can make more palettes (hey, I didn't know about it when I started working on the char... so... I just went with the flow...) ... The new .sff file WILL BE the v1.1 update .... along with 1 or 2 more improvements...

Also, I'm looking for someone experienced with creating AI.... really hoping someone can code the AI for me... because... I've been reading like 5 tutorials... and my brain is about to explode from confusion.................... So.... PM me if interested... (yes, you will be greatly credited! :thumbsup:)

P.S. I have no intention of using Dragon Soul's coding... And yes... I DO KNOW ABOUT THE CHARACTER!!! K!!!??? jeez... Everyone keeps telling me look at this character... I really don't want to... it's a really broken character.... I do plan to improve the ice clones at a later time... but he only might be able to clone 3 or 4 times in a row... I don't see a need to ice clone every f'n second...... Please stop mentioning Dragon Soul... I would really appreciate it.

thats cool i dont want him to have a million ice clones i would be happy if he only used it for like some kind of super and i had no idea he had no throw sprites ill just use my imagination and pretend he was JUST about to do reptiles invisibility when he was thrown lol

As for the multiple ice clones... I apologize if I promised anything, but it's not really going to happen unless I can get a great coder to code that for me....

That's about it... an update will come sometime in the future.. can't say when, though...
