Sakura EOH FX assistance
« on: October 15, 2008, 07:40:48 PM »
Hey, sup, need a big favour if possible? Thought this would be the better place to put this for more views. I've followed P.O.T.S hi-res tut to the letter and I'm unable to produce the same results, I'm almost sure there's a huge step he missed out as there's also a few others who've experienced the same problem, so long story short if i send you guys some FX would someone be willing to high-res them for me? I've all given up at this point  :P ,there for the Sakura EOH project, which I'd also like to inform you is official, and very much near completion, whoever edits these for me will be mentioned in the readme and recieve a cookie  :)

here's the FX I need high-resed

I will give it a try :)

EDIT:

Hmmm......that's a lot....I did just one of them to show you...if you like it or not

If you think it is good...I could do the rest...It would take a while...I am a slow worker  :P

the blur looks kool, but i'm looking for something alot more vibrant in colour, yea I know it's alot though, was hoping someone would use a batch process for consistency, here's an example of what i'm looking for, taken from POTS sakura:

doesn't have to be exactly like that but you get my drift!

Yeah...his stuff looks great

I tried the tutorial....but mine never look as good

When I did the example...I tried making it similar to The original FX

I could always do a high contrast and then apply what Pots tut says...and see if the results are close to what you want

...dang..

when increasing the contrast it made the light source too light..

the sprite had too much white in them....then when I applied the tut

it looked just like what I posted before, I guess I'm out  :D

EDIT: Re-tried and got a little better results...but lost too much definition (squiggly areas at the end..that make it look blast-ish are gone)

I'm a novice at this stuff...but Practice makes perfect  :-??

Yeah... I know man... I've tried using the same tut.. but it feels like a lot was left out, because all I got was blurred images...

Love the HR effects.

Just wondering...
Are you going to make her launch her hadouken barrage style move to the front too or just on the upper direction like how Capcom made her on the MvsC series?

I'm just curious about it... :O*D
Lloyd: Presea, no one can stand against your axe!!!
Presea: The enemy has been defeated. We should move on.
Lloyd: Cold...
