Title: SMvCHoE help!

hello,

I'm having a bit of trouble with this game. First off it take quite a few minutes to load up (black screen). i changed the resolution but it still happens.

My more pressing issue however it that quite a few times while on the character select screen the program will encounter and error an will shut down. I've tried changing some to the options but continues to happen. Any ideas how to counter this?

P.S. first time here. Been a Mugen Fan for a LONG time now.

whats good bro and welcome to the forum. i will try and download it ( i had it awhile back but my cpu crashed and lost all my stuff) so imma see if i get the same effect as you have. plus what resolution did you change it to by chance?

changed it to 1024 x 600. on a net boot let me know

1) Make sure you downloaded it from this web site.

2) You'll want to keep it on the default resolution, if you want full screen press:
 Alt + Enter

3) SMvCEoH was made on an older version of Winmugen which may crash periodically, but not as much as you're suggesting. There are suggestions in the user manual that will help you optimize the game to avoid crashes.

alright will try to leave res. alone and use alt+enter instead.

Had a nice mugen set on old computer but it busted. I suppose this is the best version to use without starting all over again or is there a more updated version of mugen out there?

Ya I have the same problem too! When ever I'm at the select screen and I take more than 20 sec to choose a character it will crash or say that there's an error!

Can anyone help me with this problem?
