Depends on which version of mugen your running. I recommend downloading the new IMT version of mugen from the main branch of the site. It runs in full screen and can hold up too 8,400 characters!!! I highly recommend it!  :)

He's asking specifically about the Super Marvel vs. Capcom version though because it is set to windowed as default in order to avoid conflicts with DXMode on various computers. I should also point out thought that I found mugen runs better on Softwared mode so full screen will probably be the default for the next release.

I agree if we can get it to run smoothly, default full screen is the way to go for SMvsC :thumbsup:

i no im responding late but since no one said it i will any version of mugen can be set to full screen and lines of resolution changed turned to high res or 3 lvls of non high res you can do it manualy or with a tool called the mugen configurator there just options in the system def file/cfg file .go with bilinier filtering on double res thats 2 i believe .640x480 or whatever .screen stretch and software mode will make it full screen
aditionaly you can change the numer of chracter slots and there small pic sizes the same ways pick a sceen pack you like not one you settle for
