Yeah, I figured that much *j/k, j/k* I just paid too much attention on how it was worded.. and about the tiny text I was quite serious.
Spriting again, Spriting Bass's Hypers, and special moves. I also started to figure out how to add sounds.

Thanks. (I had family over from Desert Hot Springs, they had to take care of some things, I had to go with them wherever they went so I hardly had time to work on Bass. I was basically away from my house the whole week, I've been tired.)

It's a "Messatsu Burst"!
I dunno what other hypers besides the bass fusion. How ever I was Tinkering with his blast hyper and made it transparent, it looks alot cooler in MUGEN. :) Also LegendaryXM90 let me use his Tron Bonne's MvC2 Effects! I think the ones Bass had before were Ryouwin's which don't look too good. Anywho. I finished spriting the whole rising kick sequnce. I'm gonna implement that soon. (hopefully)

XD @ the Shin Lv2 Zero. You know what this Bass needs? a flash kick. He was my favorite in Power Fighters because of that. He could have a flash kick special, then a double flash kick hyper. Two hits for the first flash kick, then the second could be a normal hit followed by a super powerful hit causing a pause then sending the char flying. Know what I mean? lol

For those who disagree with Bass's hyper. I'm sorry, but I'm not going t o change it.
Anyway, I changed Bass's blast it's no longer a hadouken blast but the same concept. It's bass' blast from Megaman Power Battles/Fighters. I chose it because in MUGEN it's the perfect size to how big his blasts were in Megaman 8.( I am basing alot of his features from Megaman 8; His gamplay is Marvel vs. Capcom though. By features I meant looks). I also made the blast transparent because itt'l look ugly without it. Here is the picture, if you don't like it gimem a suggestion for a nother blast, and tell me where to find it or else this blast is staying. Also I have a question for dust. If I wanted to add a dust effect when Bass fires his blast, does that need to be an explod. also if I want to add an effect to look as if the blast was actually being fired (Like a burst of light at the end of his buster) does that include another Explod? Or if I got ALL of that wrong can you guys help me.

Like they have a verbal exchange (which would of course require a voice actor or the like), where Bass would proclaim himself to be superior or whatever you came up with. I suggest so because I distinctly recall it being seriously hinted in cannon that Zero was Wily's last creation and was intended to trump Bass in every way.
Just thought it was a cool idea and figured I'd throw it out there.
On the actual work thus far, it all looks great. Expecially that new blast. The skull in that beam makes it look unbearably cool.

the blast is perfect for and plz dont ever change it. when it hits the opponent will it make them turn like purple or something like when akuma does his dp and they turn that purple color? even though u said ur not gonna change the beam (which i do like a lot) how bout a multi-blast (his normal blasts) multi-directional hyper. he shouldnt be able to move while doing this jus like in the megaman and bass game. again jus a thought

I doubt I could use voices. Bass's voice will be in Japanese and if I'm lucky enought to get someone to get English sounds for him. If anything, I'm probably gonna use text boxes. But the only specal intro he will probabaly (hopingly) have will be against Rockman. Or if it is against Zero. Bass will just go on rambling on about how he is far superior than Zero, Zero will just be confused 'cause he won't know what Bass is talking about. Or who he is. (Different time era that's why).

That skull shot looks awesome man, very Bass.. Loved that "dark energy" storyline in MM8, and considering how well Bass took to that stuff, even better to include it into his character. :) Awesome work man..

Well I made teh crescent kick slash. It'll probably look better with the slash effect. I need to get one but dunno where to look. I'm thinking Guiles flash kick might work. BTW I think the kick goes too far.

I think Zero has a good slashing effect that might fit.
I dont think he's going too far forward, but if you think he is then mabie you would be happer if he wasnt moving forward at all, perhaps slightly backward.

Perfect! just take the power fighters flash kick, resize it and clean it up. Trust me, I'tll look much better transparent. :)

It was easy because Iceman has a similar move to that with an air Ice Beam Hyper. Anyway, I love the progress here :)

that looks amazing, but you should have used akuma's hadoukens that he does in mid air but align to look like forte's rapidbuster a little more mvcish and a little more true to the character, or that could be another attack that can be controled like cyclop's beam ;*)) btw love that stage excursion

Very much lovin the progress.. Slowly falling helps for those times when you just barely miss and waste a super. :'( But the falling helps it cover more ground so you still have a shot of hittin P2, which rocks. :w00t: IS it gonna be controllable like that Cyclops super, or just the falling shot? Either way it rocks, awesome work man. :thumbsup:

OT: I like that hyper, its nice and basic (which isnt a bad thing)

I think that energy beam hyper move should be controllable. If so, you would be paying homage to the Megaman and Bass game where Bass could change the direction of his shots. Also, you should have a move where Tremble comes out and Bass merges with him, like Bass did in Megaman 8. That would be so cool!

Metalman's still running the beta gambit. Excursion needed to set priorities for the Project release. Expect Metalman as a January release.
As for Bass, well, I can't answer that question. Zero, you're on.

Awesome shots. The rapid fire looks kick@$$, and the fusion shots look cool as well. The new stance/lighting for the beam shot is also quite cool, make shim seem more unique and custom. :) Just one thing, no more skull in his regular buster shot? Heh, either way, he looks like he's comin along rather awesomely.. Keep rockin man.. :w00t: :thumbsup:

Bass Rush Hyper is complete. So now he has 3 hypers in total. I also added a teleport move kinda like Shang Tsung since the robots teleport but Ive never seen it used ingame so since bass is a dirty fighter we've decided to Implement it in him.
Disregard the watermark for now.

ehhhhhh. neeeew. He has some balancing and damage issues as of now. His other 2 hypers are incomplete and we want to add a LOT more to him before we even talk about a release. I know I want more buster animations mainly air. Maybe a directional move.

Hello folks sorry bout the non feedback, Ive been improving bass very slowly but hes almost done. Hes become priority number 1 as of now. I wanted him to be released for tommorows EOH release but I honestly dont think thats going to happen, His move are too buggy and I want him to play as smooth as protoman and megaman does. I might release a beta next week to hold you guys over untill the full release if thats okay with zero.
I did however implement a Direction Blast Hyper. I was hard as hell to do and its still buggy. but its functional. On the ground he will shoot up and forward, and in the air he will shoot in all 3 directions.

bass probably won't make it in time for v.2 i guess. awesome work chaotic! bass was always one of the best megaman villains (least classic series anyways, lets all forget battle network and star force ever existed)

Now that you mention it, it does look kinda like that instance. But I added a couple more sprites so when he grabs him it looks like this.
