Obscure fighting game i found on youtube

I was thinking the sprites are good looking, and the arcade version would probably be better.
I haven't found any rips from this series so i thought id put this out there for anyone looking for something different to use in their sprite editing or rip or code work.

Not really obscure. There are some rips around, or at least a couple of chars for the more recent instalments.
You might want to check Kong's Mediafire folders, I am almost sure they are there somewhere, perhaps with different game name.

Power Instinct went pretty far, with PS1/2 games and all. One of the later releases was called Matrimelee IIRC - some animations available at EmuGif.

I hardcore loved all these games: Power Instinct 1, 2, Legends , Groove on Fight (if you recall that one) Matrimelee, and even Gōketsuji Ichizoku: Senzo Kuyō.   I even bought most of these - but man they were obscure.  I doubt I knew anyone who knew these games - they just couldn't compete with SF, MK, and even SNK.

Pretty sure the series is done, too.  Last release was 2009.  Good times!
