I think he's really well done. He's got a really wide variety of moves and a lot of them are really original.

HE has the best surfer moves and ideas but the sprites need a little work, i now have two surfers in my mugen

(him and acey)

Well I believe the same sprites are used in both Acey's and Team Omega's version.

but this character has stolen stuff,as i was informed by the date of its release unfortunately...anyway it looks quite good overall...some of his moves are pretty unique

really who said that it had stolen stuff I mean I haven't seen no proof of that.

i like the intro.

This surfer is in some ways better, the attacks are very good and the specials are just great plus he seems to have a better ai oh and i think its more original and like a real surfer should be

the only problem is the sprite work, very poor in that way Acey's better.

Anyone who already tried him haven't noticed Kalangueb's sprite edit of Galactus?

(It's the same one Excursion is using for his W.I.P. but with permission)

Besides...
The guy or the team who made this character runs a warehouse so...
The rest is easy to imagine...

I'm sure other IMT member could point out other stolen content on this character too.

Just because he's associated with a warehouse doesn't necesarily mean he can't make a legitimate character. True, it does put some negative assumptions out there but I mean come on, how many of you can honestly say you've never downloaded something from a warehouse and does that mean if you create it shouldn't be taken seriously?

And more on topic, while I agree that X-boy's sprites are better in terms of shading, I think these ones have better positioning.

. when you do a great character you can forget the rules because i have a lot of characters in minds with stolen stuff used by hyppocrits saying stealing is bad

I honestly dont know what stuff is legit or not from this character.

The only thing that I can complain about is that Galactus sprite, If he got permission from the creator of it like Excursion did then thats cool with me.

If not then thats messed up.

I mean its simply a judgement of morals.

Its like the countless of people who take P.O.T.S. creations and just sprite swap them and call it their own.

I honestly hate that cause you really dont put any work into that besides switching the sprites.

For people that use stuff without asking for permission, those people have a true lack of morals.

Those are the same people that leak stuff out and complain when they can get ahold of some creators private works.

If any of you guys here that do use other creators stuff for personal use keep that PRIVATE.

I dont want to hear you talking about it, posting screenshots or even thinking about releasing it here at INFINITY.

If you simply take the time to just ask for permission you would find out that creators are actually pretty cool with sharing.

If by any chance they say no, then try to make your own material.

Its not that hard people..

They are working on respriting him and releasing it as a 2.0. I've seen some sprites of the new look, and it's very clean and detailed. Nova gets a facelift too.

that will be perfect, this surfer attacks with Acey's sprites. the perferct surfer for mugen. too bad its not very possible, due to the doubt about this surfer and its stolen stuff.

I never said anything about spriting did I, so choose your quotes correctly and think before you post.

What I meant by that is that I hate it when people take pots ryu change a couple of sprites here and there, add a dark pallete and release him as SHIN,EVIL,DARK,DRUNK,PISSEDOFF,RAGING,EMO ryu...

Come on now, I know that pots said his material is open source but I dont think he meant for you to use the whole freaking character.

You're right, when I made that statement I hadn't put him in my mugen, just downloaded him and saw the vid. I assumed it was it Xboys as it had both board attacks and non-board attacks and the fact it is from a warehouse and stuff I didn't think they would just make their own sprites (if they did) and they used that Galactus. I apologize for jumping the gun like that.

i like it and i want that silver surfer with all the hypers. none of his stuff is stealing u can get those sprites anywhere. its ice man with various :DB:MVC2 HYPERS. ANYONE CAN GET A GALACTUS PORTRAIT(EXCEPT 4 ME).
