Title: PSX megaman 8 problem

I don't know if anyone know if in PSX emulator, but I have a problem.
I want replaying Megaman 8 and Megaman Battle and Chase, the game works perfectly, but I can't play, the keyboard and the controller does not respond. (the other game works)  ???
It worked on my old computer (Windows XP)
But it doesn't work on the new computer (Windows 7)  :'(
Why? please help me

ePSXe is the best PSX emulator available in my opinion.
Other than that,it might be a compatibility problem between Windows 7 and the emu( make sure is at least compatible with Vista)

That's weird...
I play every once in a while Legend of Mana and other classic RPGs on my laptop (With Windows 7) using ePSXe 1.7.0 without any problem. /:O
Also I use a Logitech Precision Gamepad with it and everything works fine. :-??

What version of ePSXe are you using?

I played it on the PSXfin emulator, and works on that. the only problem was that you couldn't use save states, or else the game would freeze after a boss.

I have the latest version of the 2 emulators, I checked. (Epsxe and PSXfin)
I use the bios for the 2 emulator : SCPH1001

on Window XP :
with PSXfin : the game works well, but it freeze after beating a boss ...
with ePSXe : not control, impossible to play...

On Window 7 :
with PSXfin : not control, impossible to play...
with ePSXe : not control, impossible to play... (controller no detected)

there are only Megaman games blocking (Megaman 8 & Battle and Chase) , the other game works perfectly (Metal Gear Solid works perfectly on 2 emulators)

Maybe you are using PAL copies of both Megaman games.
You need a different Bios to play NTSC or PAL games.

the game exists only in NTSC.
and I can't find the NTSC bios

I have both NTSC & PAL Bios.

Check your PMs cause I sent you both since I don't remember which one is the NTSC Bios.

I finally succeeded to launch Megaman 8  :w00t:

Solution: Playing at the Sega Saturn version on a Sega Saturn emulator, all psx version not work ...
