Holy crap! This just made my day! Too bad I can't think of any puns to go with Snakeman's name.
Well what do you know...finally someone is gonna make Snakeman..sure took long enough :P I thought I recognized that look from somewhere. I thought Etg was gonna make him at some point, but at least he is gonna get made regardless. Snakeman is my all time favorite robot master. For a Hyper he could use a huge snake like the ones in his stage that fire shots at you. I hope all goes well in his creation.

hpw about a move where snakeman summons fpur pots and appears out of one of them (button determines which pot you end up in) and shoots one his snakes out. Think Psylocke in a way. You could also make the pots punchable and if the opponent guess right and in time snake either gets stuned or just gets hit plain and simple. It sounds more like a hyper idea though
Let's see... His ultimate special should have him summon a giant snake head that he stands on, which shoots a flamethrower. And maybe he could have a crouch walk where he slithers like a snake across the ground.

I have to agree , look at Lord Raptor . The way he does that crazy crawl , that would be cool if Snakeman did something similar.
I looked through Lord Raptor and didn't see anything in particular that jumped out at me, his run forward looked sort of odd.. I
like Venom's crawl I am going to try something similar.
I meant that he has a dash animation, in addition to a crawl with the same animation. But yeah, go with Venom's crawl for the animation. Raptor's is weird.

It's a upward swinging type punch. I'm trying to come up with something a little different for each punch if I can. ;DChange is always good. Give him more personality and individuality. If everyone punched straight it would be dull.

I have reshaped Snakman's head for the jump like suggested above, I think it looks perfect now. Hopefully in the next couple weeks I can finish his run, then I can make a quick video.

Since he, according to some info I've seen, prefers to chase down and corner his opponent, I assume that his moveset reflects that, yes?

I have a few ideas in mind for moves and a dash forward. I'll probably think up some more moves once the basics are completed.

for the crawl why not try to have him morph into a bigger more modified version of the snakes he shoots out. I know he never did that b but its something totally new. You just have him slither.

I personally think his evasion move should be him jumping into the ground and then coming out somewhere else like he did in Super Adventure Rockman.

I have been working on a tail whip move for Snakeman but I can't seem to get it to look quite right... Maybe bend the legs more and add the blur effect to the tail? Is anyone interested in helping me out with this one? I think a fresh set of eyes might help.
The first frame is one from his stance and the next five are the tail whip move thus far. I'm getting really close to finishing up Snakeman's sprites. :)

the head motion is good but the body is not following though. Stand up and try doing that move ur self. ur body aint stiff like the way you drew snakeman now is it?

The idea of the throne seems awesome! But you should really work on the shading of the middle head and the "W" symbol, so they match the rest of the throne!

Correct that's from Aladdin hehe, good eye. I always liked how that snake head looked. I saw a youtube video of Snakeman sitting in a throne with glass of red liquid, so that's where I got the idea from.

By the way you should use the sprites from Wily Wars, they're better!
Is it just me, or would Snakeman's "tail" look better hanging down on sprites like the idle rather than defying gravity and constantly and sticking up? The sticking up fits for some animations, such as the running and dashing animations, however for a lot of the animations, it looks quite odd sticking up.
I think it looks fine. You'll get a better look when I can post a good video. Hopefully soon.

I've come to peace that Snakeman doesn't crawl, it's not needed honestly.
I'm hopeful that you'll see all 6 of my works in progress released this year to fill everyone's Mugen desire for More Megaman. I'm only lacking coding on five of them as they are totally sprited, and Needleman almost has his basics sprited. :thumbsup:

Snakeman's finally being coded. Sprites have been done for quite some time. :thumbsup:
I turned that emoticon into the current one we are currently using.
Well, my original idea was giving SnakeMan a hyper, where he does a pose (it can be an already existing one), and after that, multiple Onabashiras get launched from one side to another.
I even have Onabashira sprites to go with. I could send it to you, if you want.
Sent the sprites over, I'll see if it could be fit in somewhere for something, no guarantees though. :thumbsup:
