Screenpack coding question
« on: September 01, 2017, 10:17:32 AM »
Hello.
I want to have two different portraits of my characters in the screenpack. Like one in the select screen and other in the vs screen.
I wrote p1.spr = 9000,2 and p2.spr = 9000,2 in the system file, but nothing happens. It's still showing the 9000,1 portrait. Am I missing something?

As far as i am aware you can only really change the small portrait. Changing the select screen and the VS one is a "sprite hack" effectively your characters needs 2 portraits in the same image

[V]

Where V is off screen during the select and S is off screen during vs. Yes, it's terrible.

Ohh, I understand. I think ELECTRO done that with his screenpack. Thank you, Cyanide.

yeah, this is one of the things that they should change in the future if they do another build. they should allow to use different ports.
