Trying to make a kof boss

i in a kof mugen project, and i want create a original boss to it, my first attempt is fail... i tried using a street fighter character, but compared to kof ones, sf have monster hands and feet, when i tried to fix, it messed up with the character(i used urien(street fighter third strike) as base).

i named him susanoo(not like naruto, but the one who killed yamata no orochi in japanese legends)

next time i make a character, i will be using snk template  :(

It looks good to start with. The biggest issue between Capcom and SNK sprites is that the shading is very different, in this case if you removed/replaced the hard black line around the edges you'd be well on your way to copying the SNK style.

thanks by the advices, if it be hard, i will be using snk templates(but i will try more on this because put a orochi and a character that used orochi as base together is ugly.)

i tried to let his torso more kof styled using griffon as reference and as acey said i removed the outline



next i think i would need to fix his feet and hands, and also fix it's legs that are disproportionate
