I want to make Zatanna as my first char. Of course I'll be using these sprites since they are the only ones available, but I'm just too lazy to do it.

1.) I believe they are, since Jhonny-DC made this char and some other people used other sprites from the same creator to make other chars.
2.) I'm afraid I cannot do that. I cannot just ask someone to make sprites for me and depend on my laziness to make the char, it will be more to test my character creation skills.

Or you can do what I did and just make a slightly-better-yet-still-kinda-crappy version yourself to play with.



It's just something I kitbashed together with a few edited sprites and existing moves from other characters.  I'm sure a fresh Zatanna project would be much more desirable since trying to edit this one will only lead to a half-assed one like mine did.  Then again, I'm still teaching myself this stuff...

I can't release that.  It was just something I threw together for myself because a wanted a less choppy Zatanna.  Also, even though I did some of it myself, it's got some borrowed code from Kong's Spiral and Zvitor's Iceman and Scarlet Witch, so I'd need permission.  My whole point in posting it was to illustrate that a NEW Zatanna would probably be a better idea than trying to save this one.  Though now I see that posting it was kinda a mean tease to some instead... sorry. There really wasn't much to work with for someone of my meager skill.  I'm not good enough yet to try and make one from scratch myself.  I wish I was, but maybe in time, with practice, I'll get there.  I appreciate all the tutorials and help provided the community!  I used to be so scared of trying to make stuff, but it's really not so hard once you start learning!

I think Kong isn't in MUGEN anymore, and I'm sure Zvitor wouldn't mind if you ask him for permission. C'mon, at least you would release a decent character. Do not let us (at least me) suffering like we did for your Jubilee.

EDIT: OK, I've requested permission.  I'm just waiting to hear back from ZVitor.  As for Jubilee, I know Intensity and he's given me permission to do whatever with her, as has Mazemerald.  So if ZVitor okays her too, I'll release her.  I wish they were better polished, but I'm still rookie.

Dude, its would be better to have your chars polished than Mazemerald's. So, I believe you're doing something very good releasing these chars. Also, where did you get those Zatanna voices?

You're welcome!  Also, ZVitor has graciously given me permission, so Jubilee is also getting ready to go, there are just a few more sprite tweaks I want to do to her.  Stuff like this:

Soon Zatanna, Fire, and possibly Captain Boomerang will be ready for release too.
