I prefer the old KI games to be honest, I just never got behind this reboot and the redesigns of the characters...though to be fair the old designs do look goofy these days, but I got a nostalgic soft spot for them. I miss the old Rare Ware in general.....I want my Battletoads

Let it go man....just let it go As big of a Darkstalkers fan I am...I already accepted the fact that series is not coming back. I do feel it's Capcom's truly best work outside of Street Fighter...but it never sold well and hardly anyone ever actually played it. Oh well

Anyway, this reminds me that I need to play some KI2....sure would love a Mugen KI project.

Having the classic outfits doesn't change the fact they went overboard in giving the characters such drastic facelifts in terms of design. Though to be fair that was inevitable in this day and age as these characters are old and the old designs wouldn't have worked out well. But they could have stayed at least closer to their KI 1 and 2 versions. It's more that certain ones are just way off. Saberwulf in particular looks horrible....I want his bulkier KI2 version with cybernetic arms.

I agree with you, DG. KI2 Sabrewulf is his best look.
I wish they would've kept Glacius KI2 look as well.

Yeah, Glacius too didn't need such a facelift. I mean, I can understand small changes to modernize them a bit, but nothing too drastic so that we still recognize them. I know there are people who hate the old designs and think they are ugly and goofy and won't work in this day and age, but their old designs is what adds to their charm.

This series was brought back to feed off the nostalgia of the old fans who have been waiting for it's return so why not keep the look we have come to know with just minor changes. The only thing drastic I expected was full 3D graphics, but the design end of things is where you don't to mess with too much. I have to admit when this got originally announced I thought it was a different fighter with the KI name slapped on to it.....I didn't recognize it as KI.

Then again I live in the past too much

New (heavy) update is cool^^ The cross platform experience for me was great today for the first time. decent I should say. I played a friend in Canada today while he was on his PC and I was on the Xboxone. It was the same sh*t like the consoles. only time it lagged was on the super intense stages like HALO (which is hot btw). His PC really couldn't handle that stage much because it wasn't strong enough. But the lighter stages it was smooth as hell with no lag at all.......so yeah man I totally support cross platform gaming. Xboxone needs more damn fighting games smh. I have the PS4 so I'm covered but sheesh. Microsoft gotta step it up in that area since now we officially can play PC users^^

The new KI select screen is hot too. I had to tell em the screen before was corny as hell compared to the new one. He never saw it

I cant pick Tusk yet but I can play against him though for now (CPU)

Random fight I had verses a homie from Canada who was on his PC playing. I'm using Thunder.
I gotta play the game and practice more. I keep doing that damn cancel combo by mistake which jacks me up smh

the stage looks crazy when you stage doing Ultras^^ I think ill start using TJ combo more too
