Top 5 Mugen Characters

Who are your top 5 mugen characters? If you could only keep your top 5 favorites (non boss) characters and you had to throw the rest in the recylce bin, who would you keep and why?

For me it is really important to have a character who can combo and cancel properly...

* MvC2 Guile by RedHot - This is the most accurate MvC2 Guile to the most minute details and I love playing a Guile!
* Hayato by Vyn - This guy is a combo beast, I just can't put him down, even years later.
* Gambit by DCL - I love the design, the extra love put into the fx and explodes and the chaining.
* Bartman by Warner - He is not only beautifuly animated from scratch but he also plays very smooth.
* Snake Eyes by me - I make characters that I love playing as, my most recent project is Snake Eyes so obviously I'm making him exactly how I would want him to be.

Choose between my arms and legs? Sure.

1. bloody Shang Tsung/bloody Scorpion by bleed. IMO the best MK chars made for MUGEN. Very original, well made and graphically impressive.

2. Dragon Claw by Reu. 100% original, animated perfectl and one of the most cinematic chars ever made.

3. Thor by Loganir. Even Capcom knew that the only way to begin to compete with that quality was to copy a bit. Hard to stand out in all of Scruffy's greats, but if anyone can its Thor.

4. Kenshin by @ndroid and Warner as well as Homer by Warner. Feels like he should have been in Samurai Showdown from the beginning. And Homer feels like a fighter, from a character (as in the show) is not.

5. Piccolo by CHOUJIN. All of CHOUJIN's are great, but I think Piccolo has something extra great.

Very good for combos, good effects, summons, good attacks, super-jump.

2 - Ingrid (Melty Blood Arrange) by Shiroto
The Melty Blood Arrange gives her great ability to do combos, I had never been defeated with her, at least, not by a non-boss char.

3 - Senna Kyoudou (VP) by M3
Good combos, good specials, good efects.

4 - Squall Leonhart by SeanAlty
Nice attacks and hypers.

5 - Morrigan by Thomas Hsieh
Powerful hypers, super-jump, good and fast combos.

i think this is the greatest mugen char ever made and i'm sure the best that will ever be made, imo. only reason he's not my #1 is because he's not Magneto by Jet the Phoenix and ZVitor. lls

5.) is a toss up between Hulk by Acey and Kong, Juggernaut by ZVitor and Acey and Sandman by McCready & Loganir
it's hard to say who i like getting beat up by more, but these are my 3 favorite chars to lose to.

Not in order, and not necessarily accurate, but here it goes.

1 - Giano, Ella, and Kuando by Aiduzzi (I love them all equally, and I suck equally with all of them)

2 - Goku Z2 by CyBalthazar

...yeah, after typing this, there's no way I could ever really say a top five. These were just the first five that came to mind. Goku is definitely a top 3 though for obvious reasons. Those guys literally blew my mind with him.

Also, because I'm bored, here's my rough top five favorite creators. No offense to the rest out there, these guys just suit my taste more than most. There are so many good ones out there though, my fingers would fall off typing all of them.

Daniel M. Cozer is also know as Magma Dragoon ( but not the one from RMM). He is the guy which worked with me in some chars, like Elecman. The Heatman and Axl I show on screenshots are made by him. And another one which I can't tell but its the best version avaliable of that char...

He has a full Megaman game which is about to be released. Its just missing some fixes that I always forgot to do, .

He is also a great guy and a good friend.

my favorite fighter to rock on mugen!! feels so close to the source game and then some!!! very well rounded version of mr. bogard and i actually managed to beat ss4 broli with him !!

2 captain america  by mystik blaze
another person that is my goon in mugen! if it wasn't for the fact that i main the hungry wolf, cap would have the top spot. he was a beast in marvel superheroes and he is represented beautifully on mugen , complete with the gem system and  holding start gives you a somewhat msh vs sf mode....

3. oswald by ahuron
very cool character that deserves a spot in next kof game!! his play style is smooth, yet sneaky !! plus i love that royal flush move that he has. a great solid character!!

4. tie gill by gm and jill by warusaki3
yes gill was finally done!!! yeah he's a broken mess, but even one as mighty as gill will get washed in the world of mugen!! so that resurrection super is a must when the likes of orochi /god/ dead characters show up !!

jill surprised me bigtime!! her transition to cvs was great and i commend warusaki on taking a chance with her and it came out great! now where's my cvs2 demitri ??

This is interesting, because I remember seeing a video about this on YT a great while ago before suggesting we work on a game ourselves but then I could never find it again. I thought he had dropped it but you've given us quite the opposite explanation, which is bitter-sweet because I was and still am looking forward to it.

1. Spider-Man by Seth Zankuten -Spider-Man is my favorite fictional character of all time. I grew up with the guy and I never get tired of seeing him in action. Seth has made the best Spider-Man so far in my opinion. He plays great, has custom stuff, and great extra modes.

2. Ryu by Pots - When people have a Ryu in their roster, it's usually Pots', and for a reason. 'Nuff said.

3. Super Mario by ShinRyoga & NeoAnhk patched by BBH - Mario is one of the characters people love the most, and in MUGEN too. He's got great combos and gameplay that many enjoy and with his balance patch, he can charge energy too.  

4. Snow/EX Snow by Seanaltly - This creation symbolizes Sean's work imo. Snow is an original character and has a custom system of play. Everything Sean makes is great, but this is his greatest creation by far.

5. Goku Z2 By CyBalthazar - Incredibly fun, great sprites, amazing coding, everything you would want in a character!

1-Wolverine by vyn, I love this character, because he's very acurrate, in my opinion. By the way, Wolverine is my favorite marvel character
2-Broly by Flowagirl, because his beatufil sprites and his outstanding AI, I've never defeated him without F1 
3-Krusty by Warner. When I entered mugen almost six years ago, this was the first character I knew... It was crazy, funny and epic. A well made character
4-Morrigan by PoTS. Very good sprites, FX, etc. Nice AI too, she is challenging too. And well, Morrigan and Zero are my favorite capcom characters
5-Chuck Norris by ... [I don't remember the author]... Well... I'ts Chuck Norris!!!!!
