IINM, that's an error message in regards to a stage you are using, not the screenpack. It's telling you taht whatever stage .def it came from can't find it's sprite file (the .sff file you mentioned above)...my guess would be that you have "stages/avengersmvc.def" somewhere in your select.def...you need to make sure that you have "avengersmvc.sff" in your stages folder...better yet, open avengers.def and look for where it says "spr=avengers.sff" and make sure it matches an .sff in your 'stages' folder...
Thanks, turns out there was like... a crap ton of stages in the select.def under extra stages that I don't have. However I'm now having these issues.





As you can see all this is misaligned. I'm not quite sure how to fix it.
as for the avengersmvc.sff it was being used as the options background... yeah how was I supposed to find that? Perhaps a better readme with instructions should've been included?

Your screenshot tells the tale well. Your problem is your using 1.0 RC8, and not the Full 1.0 release. The pack was adjusted to work on the full release engine.

EDIT: I switched to the newest build of mugen and I'm still having issues with the alignment and size of the menus and what not.

are you trying to DoubleRes, cause 1.0 doesn't do that, doesn't need to.

Alright, I fixed the alignment of the menu and background, and I fixed the options menu... now, If I can just get the title menu size fixed
and the lifebars corrected.

I'll be good to go...

As for the DoubleRes... as far as to my knowledge I'm not trying to do as such. In which file would I find DoubleRes so I can check?

I got it, there's two types of resolution, one is called "Game" the other is "Video". It looks like your "GameWidth" and "GameHeight" are set differently than your Width and Height. Use "GameWidth" and "GameHeight" in the [config] area and put ( ; ) in the video definitions, that should solve your alignment problems.

I tried putting the ; in front of the GameWidth and GameHeight in the config area but it made no difference. If it helps I can post my system.def for this screenpack and/or my mugen.cfg

The portraits are not showing up (at the select screen or the Vs screen) and I'm using yours with absolutely no changes.  Setting them as the 9000_1 sprite and have them at 0,0.  I just switched out the one I had there previously and it's not working.

Also, do character endings (the ones that you set in the characters Def file) not work in your screenpack?  Because I did an arcade run and it went straight to the default end screen.

Yes, I've done all of that.   I downloaded a fresh version of Mugen 1.0 (the one linked to) and I did change the port in Fighter factory.   They show up in Fighter factory, though you have to scroll down to see the actual sprites.   And any other 9000, 1 (standard 120X140 size) portrait I place there shows up in the game... It's one of the ones you made (Nightcrawler) that I'm trying to use.   So i'm thinking it's a positioning thing.   Though I have it set at 0,0.

hi duracelleur, i love your screenpack is one of the best i ever seen :o :o but one question the coordinates of portrait 9000,1 that you use is 320x, 350y?? (i use this and works very well) but the real question is... how do you put the big portrait (9000,1) in char of rogue by Acey?? i question this for this char is somekind of padlock or key... that dont change anything of this... do you have a private version of this???

To change sffv2 portraits (Acey's Rogue has the new sff format) i use Z-CharCAD9.

Yes I agree and mabye some alien and predator ports, and some ports for he man and skeletor, and she ra...but the megamans being capcom are needed most

P.S. Is there a way I can delete all the DC characters because I don't like DC, only Marvel!  :-??

 :w00t: Thanx oeb, these are sweet this is my fav screenpack I use and its awesome to have more ports!  You almost have all the dc characters down, only a few remaining  plasticman, martian manhunter, dex starr, firestorm, gentleman ghost,  despero, and ferroman

New logo! Goodbye long title.
Too much characters for not enough slots. I decided to remove the mini portraits in select screen, to have unlimited space.
Custom portraits still work. All other things are kept from MvDcDvC1.0 (options bg, ending, into...)
Any suggestions for categories/games titles in the select screen?
