Ryu(sfa4) status:updating/converting

Currently I've been in the process of updating Ryu, and I decided to update his Rage a little. I removed the throw part of it so it works like a propper Shin Shoryuken, and also gave it an anti air version too. I also tidied some things up like making him come down a little faster from the shoryuken and also corrected p2's bind on the projectile a little better... looks more smooth now.

   

Ignore the 2 hit count I need to adjust that, also the hadouken charging fx will be replaced by the sfa4 super charge fx ;)

Okay as stated in the release thread im going to take some suggestions/ideas of what you would like to see in v1.2 of Ryu which will be the next update/build.

How about a command list menu when pressing start?

This next idea which i should really save for the full game is a grading system, in which after the fight the player will be given a grade with a rank for example D (then underneath) Rookie.

Grade letters/class will be decided on stuff like damage taken,combo count,counter attacks(seeing as i already have the sfa3 counter system this would make sense) and other factors.

so anyway post your ideas please.

Rage is a new feature that works exactly like a desperation move. You can only activate the move once and when you have 1/4 life and a full powerbar.

Rage was inspired by hatou no ken and other games like that  (finest ko, fatal ko) as well as my own ideas.

Rage is something every character has and the story has been explained but not sure i posted on this forum

in very short: A new fighting tournament has started, Gouken warns the fighters of a powerful man who is a master of the art of gekido (rage) and the only way he can be defeated is to master the art themselves blah blah blah  :O*D


but yea the story is still in progress so don't expect that to be 100% official yet.

Not really, if memory serves me correct, the alpha was his more younger days, therefore Ryu is still young and the face shouldn't be changed...

but anyways you did a great job on this BC, and I can't wait for the other SFA4 characters *anticipates Dan*  ;D
