Ripping CPS-2 % NeoGeo sounds easily
« on: February 15, 2009, 10:54:36 PM »
Reposting my old tutorial(2005):

When I was searching for Galaxy Fighters from NeoGeo, because my Jukebox wasn't showing the musics, the Nebula just make internal Jukebox with CPS-2 games (at 2005, at least) and I don't want to use the SO OLD Vx2Wave method. But we have another solution!

DOWNLOAD THIS EMULATOR: http://mamespi.sourceforge.jp/index_e.htm You need to download the sound.dat and extract it to the same folder of the emulator

HOW TO RIP THE SOUNDS?
--------------------

This emulator is close to MAME, but it disable layers and has a fantastic jukebox. If you wanna just to rip the saound, you don't need to run the game, just right click on the game name and choose JUKEBOX

After inputing OK on the rom warning, will be opened this screen for you to chosse betwenn BGM or Sound FX:

The best is that many roms have their sound on the playlist:

Perfect
