CCIronmugen's Andy AI taking over

Just as the title says. Sometimes CCIronmugen's Andy Bogard will have it's AI activated while I'm playing it. Any way to fix this?

its based on which common1 you have. if its reading mugen's common 1 then that common one must have ai in it. try putting he original mugen common1 inside of the chars folder. btw did you add anything to him like tag or anything else?

Didn't add anything to him. Now, what do you mean with this common1 stuff? You want me to copy a 'common1.cns' from the original mugen into the ironandy folder? Just that?

Well, it may take a bit since the AI only pops in at random, but yeah give me a few. So all you have to do is paste common1.cns into his folder? Seriously? I mean cripes...I figured I'd be editing at least ONE line of code!  :-SS

Eh, I just play tested him. He's still doing it. I'm not positive, but he seems to be doing it when (A) I use the move when he slides towards you and elbows you (HCB F Kick) or (B) When I button mash.

Perhaps you could send me yours? Maybe that'll help?

will do, once i go to best buy to get my piece to the monitor so i can hook my cpu up. btw, what screenpack or you using? did you put in the common1 from your screenpack or from the very first mugen (without a screenpack)?

btw, does the newly updated one do the same thing?

I'm using AlphaStorm screenpack by glassbox on WinMugen PLUS.

I tried the common1 from both my current screenpack and from default, screenpackless mugen. Neither worked.

As far as the newly updated one goes...I'm not positive. I think I have the newest one, but I'm not sure.

It says "Beta version 99%" in the readme.

The only one I've seen in the release sections is the modified andy by...uuuh...don't know his name. He's just a modified andy from Ironmugen, but doesn't play all that well. That the one you're talking about?

Well. So far this version hasn't taken over. He does however have strikers, which I dislike. How might I remove them?

i dont know cuz i dont have that one. i got the old version. but maybe find the helpers in the negative states and put NULL at the [type]

Blargh. I'll test all THAT out later, for now setting the striker command as something imposible works fine.

In the mean time, I really don't like this version. I prefer IronMugen's unmodified version, is that what you have?

Either way, I'd like to test yours out to see if it works right anyhow, if that's cool.

well, seems that pressing A+B+X+Y activates the mode. whether or not he intended the character to move on its own, i doubt it.

find the following in the nostriker cns and in the cmd file: put NULL as the [type] in the 2 in the no striker cns file first. if still fights on own, do the cmd file one too. i havent tried. im just guessing atm.

Pressing that combination activates his 'Steroid Mode' which just makes him stronger and alters some moves. I'd rather not remove that if possible...

Could you rephrase what you said or do a copy/paste? I'm not sure what you're talking about...
