So if someone was to make a new set of 4 Ninja Turtles for Mugen, which version would you most like to see?

Eastman and Laird for me. Early in their life the 2 worked at Wooster Glass in my hilljack home town of Wooster. It was a big buzz for us to see guys who lived in our town getting published, and go on to be a massive success.

I loved the early days when their origin was adapted from Daredevils, and the story and art was totally inspired from Fank Miller.

BTW. New Eastman, and Laird comic styled Action figures are coming out very soon in specialty shops. Cant wait for Shredder, Shredder was sooooo wicked in the old Black, and whites.

I voted for New Cartoon but ultimately I think 3 or 5 would work out better for mugen.

Eastman and Laird most definitely. Everything else is too goofy like the 1990 movie (too much turtles, not enough ninja) or too ANIMU like the new show.
I think many of you fail to realize that Eastman and Laird's turtles were freakin RAW. those guys would actually stab people with their weapons, not just use them to cut a nearby rope and make something fall on the badguys.

I'm going with 3.
I just really want to see a April wearing the yellow jumpsuit from the cartoon series, and super Shredder from TMNT2, but I want to see the jumpsuit April more. I didn't really like the New TMNT series because while the story is based off of the old series, I hate how they made Shredder a Utrom (like Krang), I instantly stopped watching after that episode. That just pissed me off so much. I was like.  >:(
Also the new design looks odd for the Turtles, I'm used to seeing their colored bandages on their arms and legs.
I like the original cartoon the most out of all. Here's my preferences.

TMNT 80's cartoon
TMNT live 1 & 2  (skip 3, that movie sucked)
TMNT 2007 (it was great)
The comic series
TMNT the new anime series (They really raped Shredder up the bum on this one).

Edit: As for which set of Turtles wins this poll. I don't really care because I have 2 versions of each Turtle (Snes and Sega games)

this is a delicate topic.
they r all basically the same,
if tmnt is gonna b mugenized i believe they should have a bit of all the diff types.
each brother has their own diff personality n fightin techniques anywayz.

I grew up on the original cartoon, which is still the best show ever, but for some reason, i always liked the character design of the new cartoon

I have to go with 5 or 6. I too watched and loved the old cartoon, but the newer cartoon designs IMO are far superior.

The old cartoon was one of my favorites of all time, but I always liked the way the turtles looked in Turtles in Time on the SNES.
