Just a joke to have fun - what is the winner, in your opinion, of the consoles dispute of this site?

I was always partial to the PS2, until the PS4 came out and re-released and remastered some PS2 games, offered PS2 games on PSN... All they need to offer now is Castlevania games like SotN, and I'll love it even more. :)

I have the SNES Classic right now and it's cool, but they put the wrong version of SF2 on there IMO.
I wanted the one where Akuma was a hidden select, but oh well, and wasn't SF Alpha 2 on the SNES?
The SNES Classic doesn't offer that either. :/

I might end up selling it when I'm done with it, and getting one of them retro consoles. ;)

Maybe its hard for USA residents to understand my votes for Master System, but it was a HUGE success here in Brazil.
I had a complete one, with Light Phaser and the 3D Glasses.

And it was hard to me to pick one between PS2 and Master System.

For me, the DreamCast won. Playing Shenmue and the early iterations of Soul Edge / Soul Calibur series are priceless memories.

Yes I'm aware of the uploading the pic request. I've tried to add pic links from 8 different sites, but no dice. ;) So here's the link to my bracket: https://pasteboard.co/HhoLywC.png (https://pasteboard.co/HhoLywC.png)

PSP, no doubt. Extremely powerful, versatile (can emulate tons of systems, even a "old" psp slim ca do anything good but N64 and CPS3) compact...  and much less power-consuming than all the others.

I wish the brackets were random too, part of the silliness I guess.

Yea I really liked Saturn.  I still play it sometimes, and actually use the controller to this day with a adapter on my PC for SF4 and SF5, ect.
Besides for the Sega band name games, they had such great Capcom games on it,  Megaman X3, X4, 8,  Xmen Children of the atom, Puzzle fighter, arcade ports and street fighter alpha's.  They also had the 4 meg ram cart so Xmen Vs Street Fighter, Marvel Vs Street Fighter, Marvel Super hero's, and Dark stalkers 3 ran perfectly.  Which are my all time favorite fighters.  :)
(I have some import games obviously.)
(click to show/hide)
In a time without emulators this was the only way to play those games with the 4 meg meg ram cart for many years.  The Playstation 1 couldn't handle it.
I've also got a Huge stack of other games from back in the day too.  My woman and I played Bubble Bobble on it not to long ago after I bought the scart converter and hooked the Saturn up to my 65 inch TV.

If the brackets were different the master system would have gone further on the chart for me.  Some great gems on it that I'm nostalgic for.

Saturn could turned into a better videogame if Sega didn't made so many mistakes with it. A lot of processors (which makes it hard to code to) and it doesn't even can stand transparency right (with few exceptions).

While I love Sega since I was a kid, they love to make bad choices...

Hell yea!  Better music and three characters to play the game with.
I've got some other gems too but they are packed up in the basement at the moment.  One day I really should get a shelf and put it on display.
In a time when there was no internet I had to go into New York City to a import store to buy those games.   ;*))

Dissatisfied with all of them.

Sega makes such bad choices.

The other fun part of the Saturn is now the 4 meg ram cart with action replay can be reprogrammed and you can run copied backed up games.

I'm always going to fondly remember my original Gameboy. Man, I lived on that thing for years when I was a kid. Sure, the consoles that came after were better in almost all regards, but nostalgia is a bee-otch lol.
