I put marvel marvel first alliance in the paks folder of OpenBOR without doing ANYTHING to it
I run OpenBOR
"no mods in pak folder"
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or what to do?

The reason it couldn't find the PAK, is because there is no PAK here. It's not a PAK, it's an EXE. It's essentially a renamed OPENBOR.exe set to automatically play ONLY a hidden and packed MarvelFirstAlliance.PAK file within the EXE that you can't see. There are a lot of other game files packed with it. Kinda. I may not be describing it properly.
What you did was stick an OPENBOR.exe with a different name, into your PAK game directory. You have the engine in there twice. You tried to open an OPENBOR.exe WITH.....OPENBOR.exe
Make sense? Anyway...
STEP 1
I assume you have the MarvelFirstAlliance.rar file and a program to unzip it like WinRAR.
If not, get them.

If you already have WinRAR installed, skip to step 2, if not, install it before proceeding.
STEP 2
Locate wherever you downloaded them to and right click on the MarvelFirstAlliance.rar and select "extract here". (Or whereever you want it) The game is already in it's own folder and doesn't need you to make another one. If you want to move the folder someplace else, do that, it doesn't matter.
STEP 3
Open the MarvelFirstAlliance folder and click MarvelFirstAlliance.exe (Orange/Blue Icon)
The game should start right up. First as a small window, then it switches to fullscreen. The game is set to use a keyboard unless you have a controller. You can change the options to enable it and configure your controls.
You should be able to just play it now.
As for the Red Skull DLC, I dunno, I didn't use that.

I download Marvel First AllianceYou need to make sure that your using the correct version of openbor.. Also zvitors MUA i think is in an exe file that you just double click and play. If its a pak file and you put it in a pak folder then you should double click on openbor and it will bring you to a screen where you choose a pak from a list press enter on it

It shouldn't even ask you this.

You shouldn't see THIS "start game" PAK loading screen AT ALL!
If you're opening the correct EXE, should show a minimized OPENBOR screen, then jump to a Fullscreen Marvel Game screen. It will still say OPENBOR in the blue bar, but you won't get to the PAK loading screen I pictured above.
Are you opening EXE file named "OPENBOR" or are you opening the EXE file named "MarvelFirstAlliance"?
If you're opening the exe named "OPENBOR", that is not correct.
As I stated before, Marvel First Alliance is a special case that runs itself, and does not need to be run with OPENBOR and that the only file that will help you is the one named "MarvelFirstAlliance.exe"

You don't have to deal with PAKs or put anything in any special folder. You literally take the MarvelFirstAlliance.RAR file, unzip it, click to open the EXE it spat out, and play!
