So, that's a thing that happening. It's actually going to play in select theaters during June & July. There's going to be two weekends close to where I live and I'm actually debating going to go see it.

I hear ya, it's curious enough that I'm kinda interested to see what they'd actually do with it. I look at it this way, the show hasn't had any hur-dur moments that were unintentional and they know their out for a slightly older pre-teen audience. I don't think it will be an empty cash-in, but I don't know if the feel of FiM will remain completely in tact either. That's why I'm honestly debating seeing it when it shows. I actually know a decent number of people that would go with if I asked them too, so there's that.
