Title: Fun with Shademan VS sprites
Post by: laspacho on January 09, 2009, 10:29:19 AM: Some sprites I did for fun for Shademan. I was heavily considering WIPing of him but opted not to at the moment since I am working on Fireman and another at the moment. I may work on Shademan again in the future ya never know...
Last time I worked on him a while back I was making new move forward and back sprites.
Shademan does have a guest appearance in Elecman EOH as a striker using a few of the sprites I made. ;D

Post by: laspacho on January 09, 2009, 12:53:57 PM: Thanks guys. I did plan on working on Shademan at the same time as Fireman but I decided to work on another character at the same time. Maybe I'll get my interest back once I finish my two current wips. ;D

I think its cuz he has too meny shades, it seems like hes more roundish... idk...

I made Shademan just from Power Battle Sprites. They are resized, redrawn and re shaded. The legs are based off Megaman's legs. The legs were actually the hardest part to make since it needed all the stuff drawn on the legs and a bunch of shading. The claws were interesting too. ;D

Figure he is going to be in the air 99% of the time though and he is not as hunched over while flying since his legs are dangling down.

Very awesome but Im not a big fan of the shading. The purples seems to clash and contrast each other more than blend with each other. I Think a palette change would make him much better.
