I honestly don't think any actor in the film could pull this off.
I'm sorry but no.
We should make a petition to stop this film from happening.
In the name of Akira Toryima.

Same here.  Those actors don't look like characters from DBZ at all.
One thing that what I thought was they should have made special new animation movie instead of the regular movie.

Thanks to Demonkai.  I got this MMPR photo.
I didn't know your name was :D. That's an interesting name.

AWWWWW SHI---- !!!! \-/o

They're portraying Picollo as Antagonist!!!  \-/o

Dragon Ball Z (live action 2008 film)
In March 2002, 20th Century Fox acquired feature film rights to the Dragon Ball franchise. In June 2004, screenwriter Ben Ramsey was paid $500,000 to adapt a screenplay for Dragon Ball Z.In 2007, James Wong and Stephen Chow signed on as director and producer respectively for a movie entitled Dragon Ball .Wong rewrote the script. Justin Chatwin will star as Son Goku, and James Marsters will play Piccolo, who is the antagonist in the film. Shooting will begin in November 2007, and last through March at locations in Durango, and will move to Estado De México for some shots at Nevado de Toluca. The motion picture will be released on August 15, 2008.

Well, Piccolo(jr) was originally a bad guy. He tried to kill Goku in one of the tournaments.

But then that means they're gonna do the older storyline...

Which would then be Dragon Ball, not Dragon Ball Z....
They should atleast name the movie right then.

Honestly yall we gonna have to form a group or something and send a complaint to the people who's making this movie. This is terrible.I thought the person who made this thread was playing.
This is a serious issue.excuse my language, but we cant let them put this bulls*** out.

You guys are sooooooo imature! Street Fighter is a video game and Dragon Ball is manga!
Besides, if Akira Toryama let them do it has to be great (he wouldn't give them the rights to it if it wasn't a good idea)!

He would if he was getting allot of money. How is it imature to complain about how disapointed you were in a movie based on a video game. Its a pirtty well known fact that most things dont go well when transfering media.
Videogames almost never make good movies and vice versa. Same with comics (untill the first spiderman movie)
It only goes good if they respect the souce, and try to keep it true to the story. Spiderman worked so well because it kept as true as it could while still applying to the modern age. Street fighter didnt work because all they were wored about was how much money they were going to make. With the way the story is going now for the DBZ movie, it dosnt look like they are going to keep true to the anime.
(Like i bet you'll see Goku go super sayan in his big final fight with Picollo, something that never happend in the anime or manga when goku and picollo were enemys.)

When you care about an something, and it gets transferd to a new form of media, you want it to be as good as the way you fell in love with it. And you are always left with a huge disappointment.

This has the potential to me the most epically bad movie ever converted from an anime ever.

Toriyama would roll over in his grave were he dead.

Sadly, I was kinda hoping the writers strike would derail crap like this, but it looks like it may end soon... >_>
