some more work, trying to make the boots. Not going to be a 1-to-1 comparison to the actual model with all those crazy details.

Figured I might as well show you all more newer sprites.

Update on the Doom Slayer sprite... just need to work on the coloration and shading details.

Inspired by armin_iuf's Resident Evil work, made some of my own.

Some sprites made based on the DCEU movies.

Using the legendary ZVitor's Aquaman, coupled with the edits made by Dark Luigi & Ghost Rider for a separate mugen project, made a version based on the recent (and stellar) Aquaman film.

Made one for Wonder Woman too, using Loganir's stellar version... with additional boot parts from the CvS M. Bison, shield from Captain America and sword from 'S. Geist' (Asura Blade)

Made El Diablo from 'Suicide Squad' using the body of Polnareff (Jojo series), head of Professor X, and the shoes of Cody Travers (Street Fighter Alpha/Final Fight). The tattoos were pretty tricky, hope I didn't screw up on those. There's two versions of this sprite, with his shirt tucked in and untucked.

Inspired by the awesome Mugen and 'Beats of Rage' DC fan games by ZVitor, tried my hand at making a size/style-appropriate sprite for the twisted 'Egg Fu'.

Hope it looks good.

Newest sprite concept, a 16-bit style sprite for Bane.

Using Mike Haggar sprites, the version from "Final Fight 3", boots from 'Slam Masters', I forget where the tube came from though.

Not done yet... still want to give him a shirt.. Hope it looks good though.

Here's the result of a 'wild hair', a 16-bit style Red Hood, using Mustapha Cairo from Cadillacs & Dinosaurs for the body, holster from Nick Fury (Punisher Arcade) and the head of Kamaitachi from 'Ninja Warriors Again'.

Glad everyone is enjoying the 16-bit style sprites.

Here's another one. I don't know how a mugen/BoR-style version of this one would work... I was just curious to see if creating him in such a style would be possible.

Black Manta

Used the 'JL Task Force' Aquaman as body base, arms from the mini-sentinels from the X-Men arcade game, knives from fem fatales Mary & Eliza from the SNES game 'Final Fight 2', helmet started life as the helmet from the 'Elite Ptolemaic' soldier from 'Metal Slug 5'. Tubes came from my Bane sprite, still don't know where they came from originally. ^^;;

Hope it looks good.

Very nice sprites!
I like Red Hood and Black Manta a lot.

I think Bane could use a little bit of extra editing. Perhaps mixing with Slam Masters or using a transition to make him more menacing.

Just me trying something else, an attempt (by me) at making a sprite for Lobo in the 16-bit style.

Using the body of Amon from the 'Doomsday Warrior' SNES game and the head of King Rasta Mon/'Missing IQ' Gomes from 'Saturday Night Slam Masters'.

Hope this works out

Alright, probably as close to finishing as I'll get currently. Used the belt pouches from the Genesis port of the Punisher Arcade game.
