I've never understood why some wanted Ridley to be a playable character myself, I think one of the Hunters from Metroid Prime 3 or Metroid Prime Hunters could be more suitable, Rundas was my favorite from MP3.
I respectfully disagree, I think the Prime 3 Hunters are boring. Plus Ridley is, aside from Samus, the most important and reoccurring character in the series.

What if the Yellow Devil is part of his final smash? Though something like the rush adaptor armor would make more sense.

The only thing I hope is for no more different characters to come in...

I actually saw comments on youtube saying they want to see naruto and goku, but more importantly Sonic to be in smash bros again. Sonic already got his time in Smash Bros. and as a matter of fact he completely sucked.
I guess that would also include Snake, but he was pretty good in Brawl.

I assume those who want Naurato and Goku are just trolling.

Between the two, I'd say Sonic has more of a chance than Snake. And him not being good in Brawl is irrelevant; they can improve his gameplay (as they demonstrated with Bowser)

Again, they'll probably fix them. They mentioned that they're hoping to make this a much more balanced roster

I actually do think Rundas or Ghor from MP3 would be good chars. Gandrayda wouldn't be so good though as she would be confusing and doesn't have any power other than transforming. On the topic of Naruto and Goku, I actually think Goku could appear in a future Smash Bros. (But probably not this one) because Namco/Bandai is working on this one. DBZ chars would be prety cool in the game in my opinion. I feel that Solid Snake should be cut. He just doesn't seem to fit in with the Smash Bros. characters like Sonic did.  :O*D

That is true, but there is a small issue that's keeping Goku from being in Smash Bros.

by this kind of logic everyone except meta-knight shoud be excluded on the basis that they sucked.

I'd love to see Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell games duke it out against Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid Games. Both Kojima Productions and Ubisoft have contributed to the stealth genre very well and their games have turned out quite flawless even today.

Sam fisher shimmies across a pipe while curiously watching a cardboard box move from corner to corner and realizise's this might be his end because he just wants to shout "Dude, everything here comes in crates!"

Yep, besides handheld systems like the gameboy advanced and 3ds, he was playable on the gamecube, plus the wii u.

Banjo and Kazooie are Microsoft property.

If it wasn't for that, I'd be up for them being in.

I know your post is a joke and all, but I'm just saying they should duke it out. It doesn't matter if Sam's on a Pipe or if Snake's in a Box. I would rather seem them fight hand to hand because Sam Fisher knows Krav Maga and Solid Snake was trained in CQC by Big Boss/Naked Snake. Not only that, they're about the same height and that Sam Fisher was with the US Marines, the NSA, the CIA, the Navy, and Third & Fourth Echelon whereas Snake was with the Green Berets, the Army, FOXHOUND, and the CIA.

And besides, Sam and Snake do much more than shimmy on pipes and hide in boxes! Have you seen their recent games? Anyways Blacklist is also going to be on the Wii U, and guess who's going to get the Wii U after the Xbox blunder? Yours truly. :)

Won't be getting the Phantom Pain on the new consoles though.

Lol. Yeah i was just referencing how they had him appear in the space oddysee mode at first when pikachu and samus were running through the hailbrid I think. But yea it would be cool and I am looking forward to Blacklist and the phantom pain but first I gotta pick up the prequel to when big boss goes in a coma. I just wish metal gear would be a lil more chronological man.

Oh yeah so true. It's kind of hard for me to get into the series because of that. I had to play Devil May Cry 3 first to understand the franchise's story line. Why do developers have to do that to us?

And seriously? No Splinter Cell Conviction for PS3? Thankfully there isn't any actual multiplayer in that game or else I would be screwed! Ubisoft really needs to port Conviction to the Wii U and PS3 sometime later; the Sony and Nintendo fanboys are thrown out of proportion right now due to the canonical gap the developers left.
