Freezing Opponent

Questions

  • How do I determine how long hes frozen for * SOLVED*

  • While P2 is frozen, How do I make it that when i try to freeze him again it will unfreeze him and take some of his life away...atm it just going straight through him

You have it set up so it's meant to go through him. P2 is in state 1096 so the hitdef doesn't activate. Do this

trigger1 = time = 0
p2stateno = 1096
p2getp1state = ifelse(p2stateno = 1096,0,1)

p2getp1state is a boolean which defines whether the opponent should be custom stated or not. In this case if they are in 1096 it's 0, and will hit but not freeze. If they're not in 1096 it's 1, so will receive the custom state.

Thanks man, it works great now.  Only have one problem now, both helpers are not hitting each other instead there through each other.  I added a 'hitby' but that just froze both helpers then made a clone...

You need a hitoverride for projectiles.

Yeah tried that it doesn't work well for this kind of projectile, must have something to do with posfreeze...anyway thanks for the help i'll probably figure something out
