Red Lantern Hulk: How strong would he be?
« on: August 08, 2012, 09:18:59 PM »
Basically imagine if Hulk was selected to the Red Lantern corps. While angry how strong do you think he would be?

I don't understand too much of the Red Lantern's power but I seem to understand that it comes from rage. Rage that Hulk has in abundance. In addition Hulk himself gets much more powerful as he gets angrier. So it would be like a double increase to his power.

Personally I already see Hulk as the single most physically powerful comic book character (definitely that of Marvel), so giving him a ring that feeds off of what he is best at dishing out would make him close to if not totally invincible.

Huge amounts of power his strength and ring would get stronger by the second but as Bruce Banner he would be pretty weak.

I think Silver Surfer Powerful, I think The Hulk is constantly over estimated in terms of his strength or power. So not as powerful as Galactus but with a ring he'd be upgraded to a cosmic power status!

I always liked the top ten list Wizard did in the late ninties, The Hulk was tenth behind, Prof. X, Spawn, Flash, Dr. Strange, Wonder Woman, 3.Superman, 2.Thor, and 1.Silver Surfer were the top three. Plus, with each new rank they gave pretty good reasons how one was more "powerful" than the last.

It would be even worse if they put the red lantern power battery in him, like an Alpha Lantern (GLs)

As the hulk he'd be a serious threat to most villians...that would be good to see him like that versus Thanos

I think Silver Surfer Powerful, I think The Hulk is constantly over estimated in terms of his strength or power.

I dunno man. He smashed a meteor that was 3x the size of Earth with one fist. And then he gets even stronger as he gets angrier. And since the Red Lantern would feed on this his super excess of rage (already insane) he would get stronger AND more cosmically powerful as he would become more resilient. I imagine his cosmic power would probably be on the same level as his physical power, comparatively speaking, as they are proportional to rage.

Also I'd like to see how Spawn is weaker than anyone except the Super God characters of Marvel and DC. He killed Satan...and God. Pretty over the top if you ask me.

GALACTUS powerful.

I agree. He already beat Sentry. Most people say he can beat Superman hands down.

Even Banner would be a force to be recon with (the way he is now). He's as angry as Hulk ever was.

I always believed Hulk was one of the most powerful Hero's there ever was. And now he can make himself into a Gamma bomb?

He would be unbeatable.

Personally i think Hulk is the strongest hands down in terms of brute strength, out of both DC and Marvel.

but Hulk lacks many things that others have that beam him.

like... lets say... Superman Vs. Hulk.
before i get into what i think... I'm a very big Hulk fan. hell i even have him tattooed on me:

but this will not change what i think on this fight.

Superman Vs. Hulk:
in terms of strength.... Hulk wins hands down every time.. if this was an arm wrestling match, say good bye to superman arm, but this is not.
Super would win against Hulk 9 out of 10 times.
Super can fly, he is faster, way better agility, heat vision, ice breath, just to name a few.
and Hulks greatest strength....well... is his strength....
Superman would hand Hulk a very fast beating, Hulk would not be able to catch up to his agility or speed.
so 9 out of 10 times... Superman wins.... but..
you have the 10th time.
Hulk gets a hold of Superman, Grabs him, and beat him to a pulp with that unmatched strength.
kinda like this:

so... i think with the red ring... his strength would be something truly insane! i don't think he would know how to use the constructs.
and all that means... is you have a madder and stronger Hulk that could fly.

Fly, project shields and constructs, etc. I disagree on Supes/Hulk but that isn't what this is about, I think RL Hulk would smash Superman, being that he is clearly stronger, and can fly and turn all that anger into limitless energy too.
