i knew that sanji!  :D

but i really know this goes further than all that as well cause it intervenes on more than just lobbyists  for money gain but hurts them as well . That bill doesn't let them not be a target. It hurts EVERYONE. thats why i dont really pay these useless bills any attention. they never make sense as a whole. Anyone that passes it is retarded for not looking at the full scale of what it means.

It can't hurt them if they control it. Plus, as I said it hurts genuine internet competitors more than it could ever hurt a corporation. These bill essentially give Federal Authority to corporations, for very little reason.

oh well there goes me posting a pic of my 3 year old neices picture she drew of Cookie Monster from Seseme Street! Copyright infringement on a 3 year old drawing.  *Iceman ThumbsDown!*

I hate these stupid bills that make no sense! what they need to do is make a real Bill that severely punishes those companies that take and took bailout money and paid themselves instead of their hardworkers that help get them rich already! o.O# \-/o

I don't get why they need to make stricter laws to monitor what's going on on the internet. The anti-piracy laws we have now are just fine, they just need to be enforced. When they're enforced, Megaupload goes away, which just goes to show that the laws are already well enough to handle taking out the big pirate websites, the government just doesn't give two s****s.

That's an entirely different issue.

yeah it is but you missed the point.  The point  was that with them always coimg with these ridiculous bills as they already have some in place, they need to make real ones that target real pirates not on the net as well . if thats the case, track down and sue people for Seseme Street fan art or track down and get billions of tax payers money back from bonifide liars and thieves. which would you rather have?

Guys, that's just uber simple. Progress going all out - devices, machines of any kind, including computers and supercomputers doing stuff more effectively, more accurate and faster than people. It's natural for technical progress, but it always leads to removing people from work as unneeded element. Now in many spheres, from mechanical work on factories to analytic, jobs are artificially created so people would have some place to work.
There's only 2 ways humanity may solve that problem:
1) agree with the fact, that there's no need in so many workers, make government plan both - needed researches and amount of what production needed and in which quantity(not business competition) and everyone must have his/her basic needs fulfilled regardless of his/her social status and having job or not(food, water, home, electricity, warmth). This way is principle of equalness.
2) simply reduce amount of people by any means. There goes "winner-loser" position, there goes degradation of education, bad health care, etc. This leads to dividing people in 3 classes - elite, slaves and small class of suppression. While elite owns all resources, all money, all luxury they using some to fund suppressing army, slaves in this situation are dealt with no regrets("they are slaves, not people" position).
What we see now with those SOPA, PIPA, ACTA thingies is just vivid example of this 2 ideologies conflict. Rich ones want's to enforce 2nd option and killing examples of 1st one. That's very old conflict, but it seems this time they want to set once and for all which position will dominate. It starts to be most impudent, rough and much easier to see...

My History teacher said the way to stop all this political  stupidity is to choose reform-minded canidates in the Congessinal Elections, instead of ignoring them, or choosing the "Bad Guys."   :rules:  :O*D
