im not racist i actually took japanese class back in da day and da girls look pretty good im just sayin some ppl go hella far dressin up like naruto and crap callin there selfs japanese names and all that stuff i was the same way a while ago but i told my self i need to cut this crap out.

Some people do take it too far. 

I think he makes somewhat of a point. It's not really race but it's region that matters. Like in most urban communities you don't see as many anime fans and video gamers as you do in other communities. I'm in Detroit and theres a Foot Locker in every plaza but when I go to Dearborn, there's a Gamestop in every plaza. There's this kid in my 4th Hour who loves anime and video games, and the other day he was watching this Naruto video on Youtube and this other kid in the class said "look at his lame @$$ playing that Yu-Gi-mon Z crap." And there's an Anime Club at school and well let's just say it's frowned upon. Most people would rather join Chess Club first.

I'm not a cosplayer or anything, but I'd like to cosplay Terry Bogard (But I lack long blond hair, blue eyes and some muscle mass ). Well, my old school uniform actually was kinda like his clothes (Red jacket, white t-shirt, blue jeans).
I have a brown jacket now which is similar to his current one, but is normal street-wear, you wouldn't notice any cosplaying.

You live in democracy and I live in democracy, so if someone wants to cosplay without causing any trouble and wants to give him/herself a Japanese name, he/she's entitled to it. Yeah, it originated in the south, not Japan. I remember the Christmas episode of Pokemon, I saw it once but then it was banned because of Jynx. It was actually a really good episode. Goes right back to the US cartoons banning all the good stuff. Just like that episode of Pokemon with Porygon had to be banned because the "Flashing...Lights" were giving kids seizures. They made fun of it in that episode of Simpsons when they went to Japan.
