I think I saw Marrow as a WIP for Zvitor.. don't know if that's still the case or not.

What if it's only bug fixes and balancing, wouldn't it still be worth it?

Most definitely.  It's a solid game as is.. so if tweaks to make it better is all that's in the next update, that's fine.

Yeah it would. I didn't really expect anything big like a new character, but it'd be a nice surprise.

I'm sure the newer version will be great regardless

It is going to be M.U.G.E.N. 1.0-compatible, so that might mean adjustable AI.

Any plans for Birdy,  Rogue, and Cable to be release with the updates.  I'm still looking forward to them regardless.

I bet the big delay is Rogue. Her mutant abilility to absorb anything and anyone she touches is taking of the author's time.

Naw, the truth behind the delay is that ZVitor and I both spend a good part of 2010 working on this game so we both needed a break afterwords. Since then Project X has been receiving a fair amount of work but each ZVitor and I have had a variety of mugen related ventures (and BOR) to keep us well occupied in the mean time.
