Gamepad problem

Hey, I'm having trouble using my Logitech Gamepad controller for DiRT 2 on the PC. Does anyone have a solution? I have logitech gaming software installed, and I run game from both there and tried from Steam and it didn't make a difference. Does anyone know if maybe there's a way to setup a gamepad... in Steam... or... what am I doing wrong here?
