Fan of The King of Fighters, have I got some news for you! SNK Playmore is as of now unleashing a new addition to the family: The King of Fighter XIII. Here it is on SNK Playmore's Japanese website and here are some backup articles that I have found:

i like the new design better, characters are actually different now while in prevous kof many (not all sure) characters looked like body clones

I like all but Ralf and Clark. I think those two need to retain their original size so that they can preform their original moves. Also Terry Bogard needs to have his forearms reduced so that he can do a Power Dunk.

Why does my boy Duck always get overlooked when it comes to KOF talk? I thought he had FINALLY gained some respect when he finally got the spot he deserved in the KOF roster back in KOF XI? Now we dissin' him again...you guys are heartless

And I better not see a certain ninja missing again...EITHER of them?! *glares at SNK PLAYMORE* I'm watching you...>.> Also, to make things FRESH again, they should maybe install 2 or 3 new teams instead of just omitting team members and teams all together...like they did back in '99-2k1 (or was it 2K2?)...

You do realize he's the main character of the current ongoing KOF story right?

Also, are those sprites the leftovers from the KOFXII disk or are they just fan made?

Yeah, I know that, It's since 2k3 (Or 2k2?)
Anyway he sucks, It's the most boring design ever for a KoF game, Thanks to him Iori had lost his flames.
Just start a new Saga with all those old KoF chars, That would be a lot of fanservice (Just like they are doing with SF4)

The new saga is not a bad idea and the new design could be a good excuse, i know iori is flameless in kof xii and ash is there sort of hinting that the story is still going regardless the lack of it in that game but seriously who cares, the saga has had plain tournaments in the past like 2k2 and 98? so i wouldnt mind i would go for kensou and his new powers deal, the guy has hero material
