Hi everyone. I am saddened to tell you that the new KOF movie looks like garbage. It even steals a track from the dark knight soundtrack in its trailer. just... just take a look at another disappointing videogame adaptation... probably gonna be a straight to DVD release the way its lookin....

there was a thread about this movi before and i still say, its gonna suck!! i am a huge king of fighters fan and i would never go to the movies to see this. terry looks like an escaped retard from some facility that used to have the gamne there so he wants to imitate him, mai... no boobies? where they at? and oh god, ray park as rugal? has the man ever even had words in a movie before pass 2 sentences? and i am sure rugal is like a really tall guy? ray is short, elven like. Plus...swords? so rugalis gonna destroy the world by using swords in bare fist fighting? i swear they must got half smart gerbils in a room writing th scripts and hamsters doing the casting by droppin seeds on pics. KOF the movie...i quit!

If I was watching this trailer on tv(without quickly changing the channel) I would have no idea that its KOF until the very end where it says "THE KING OF FIGHTERS"...then I would say to myself "really" and someone would reply "ya really"

Lets face it, hollywood is never gonna make anything look like its counter part..

Here is another movie that could have been ok and maybe worth a watch if it not have a big name from a game/anime. The movie has a ok story kinda like a low budget mortal kombat/street fighter which seems interesting enough but man to call it King Of FIghters with a strait face is just absurd. Oh well here is another one for online view

lets just hope Tekken gets some kinda justice

...i laughed at my friends way back in the 90s when they went to the movies to see Street Fighter and i was defiant on going as they mocked me that it was gonna be dope . my moms friend brought it home on boot leg that same night and i sat there laughin that whole time...

mainly cuz i knew my friends were there (as hardcore SF fans like me) and just sittin in torture...

sure nuff they were...

so im sure there are some youngins out there going thru that same crap assumin this movie is gonna be hot

King of Fighters Movie Horrible Mistakes

1) Another Dimension?

2) Everyone fought with their hands in the game, so why didn't the actors?

3) Get a better cast, people who actually look like the characters!

And he would have been terrible for the role(slow as hell,he can't even run properly as far as i know)

OMFG I can't wait for this movie is gonna be sooo awesome how they fight with swords and none of the actors look anything like the character they are playing. It just looks nothing like the game which is the best part since they are targeting any viewers instead of pleasing loyal fans.

I mean, the only thing that was correct in SMB was the names, that movie was way worse that Street Fighter.

This is usually where I come in and tell you guys to be optimistic but from what I have seen of this film I have to TOTALLY agree with each and every one of you. I like KoF too...not a HUGE MEGA FAN but I've liked the series for years...even when a vast majority of the gaming public was saying that KoF had gotten stale and that the new releases weren't really NEW...so to me this is a MAJOR insult to fan who would be the VAST MAJORITY of the viewers of this film...you know BEFORE we saw the trailers and what not and found out how much BS they were sticking to us on this one. Though I will say this in response to someone's post last month: Hollywood is at lest TRYING to get it right now...just go look at the trailer for The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time...if you haven't seen that trailer yet, go watch it. Nut yeah, I think when it comes to gaming movies I think they need to let Japanese directors and what-not do it and then just nationalize it (by purchasing the licenses needed) and just dub it.

Good news from the trailer is that I didn't recognize anyone (even the difference between the good one and the bad one is hard to make)
