My favorite: Naruto, DBZ, Death Note, FMA, Bleach, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon edges it

Favorite animes

Bleach, DBZ(ah the old days), Trigun, Devil May Cry, THe Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Busou Renkin, Initial D

The only anime I truly like is Lupin The 3rd. Other than that it's nothing but avatar: The Last Airbender, which doesn't classify as anime to people because the Japanese didn't make it, but the story and writing is excellent and the art design is non cliche

My favorite is Cased Closed/Detective Conan. Others include: Inuyasha, Bleach, Blood+, Sailor Moon, Yu Yu Hakusho, FLCL, Lupin The 3rd, Pokemon,Tenchi Muyo!, Prince of Tennis, Dragon Ball Z, Thats all can think of......

I see what you mean avatar is quite well written even for non japanese writers!

anyone like naruto? Apart from the Fillers its my fav anime atm.

the manga is really welll writen and quite strong.

I have to say I HATE all anime except Digimon

DBZ was cool but during the Buu saga there would be episodes that were completely staring contests and after a while I lost interest.

Lucky Star, Potemayo, Pani Poni Dash, Puni Puni Poemi, Rizelmine, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Noir, Elfen Lied, Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, Azumanga Daioh, Bottle Fairy, Risky Safety, Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, Child's Toy, Inuyasha, Big O, plenty of others. Lucky Star and Potemayo are my current favorites though.

I still love anime but dont really keep up with it now. I mean I just bought Samurai 7 on a wim the other day. Great by the way. Afro Samurai was pretty cool. It was very predictable tho. I still watch the old animes like Dragon Slayer, Those Who Hunt Elves, Akira, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ranma 1 1/2. I have a endless amount of em but there all on VHS

Jeez, it seems most everyone here is pretty mainstream in their anime. That meaning of course that they only really have listed stuff thats on TV.

I also liked Bleach, FMA, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Samurai Champloo before they became mainstream. I hate seeing thousands of idiots talking about shows they only watch because 10000000 other people are watching them.

Props to all those people who said they like Lupin III. Shame you can't get that many region 2 Lupin DVDs in the UK. :-\ Streaming ftw!

Let's see...most of the anime I own consists of one-offs. Metropolis, Steamboy, quite a few of the Studio Ghibli films. However, I did watch Pokemon, Digimon, Outlaw Star and Big O when I still had satellite TV. Occasionally I dabble in Trigun and Cowboy Bebop, and of all the 3 Dragonball series the first was my favourite.
