Megaman X Style WIP

I've mentioned elsewhere on the forum that I'm working on a private WIP featuring my friends,
its not very far along but here is the basic concept

- there will be 5 - 10 characters, all basically the same except for specials, intros, endings, and hypers.
- my plan is to have a fast paced fighting game based on emulating the physics and movement style of the megaman x series
- all characters will have buttons for a light attack, strong attack, and a special attack, as well as a jump and a dash button
- im hoping to bring a pace and style closer to a smash bros. game rather than a traditional fighter.

any cool ideas for the game are welcome, nothing about the characters is set in stone.
