Why does Phantasy Star Universe.......

Suck so bad? I love the Phantasy Star series, but man they screwed and nerfed Universe really bad. It could have been so much better. Phantasy Star Online is a much better game and it's how many years old? Seven? What is Sega's deal? It's too bad Yuji Naka left sonic Team, and I see why he did.
