Is it possible to have 2 differnet big portraits?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if it's possible to have 2 different big portraits, for example in the selection screen it shows the character sprite and in the versus screen a half body pic of the character or something??

yes and no. take a look at pizzaman's RE game. the select screen and the vs screen appear to have different pictures, but if you open the cahracter's .sff in fighter factory and search their 9000,1 sprite, you'll see that both immages are on the same sprite. the vs screen and the select screen are both told to look for different co-ordinates for the same sprite, thus giving the illusion of having different sprites.

Thanks bro, I'll check out Pizzaman's game out, I'm just asking because I'm currently working on the versus screen of the DC vs Marvel vs Capcom screenpack!!

Thats how we have it set up for EOH.

Top is the select pic and the bottom is the Versus pic.

You have to go to your system.def and in the section where it says versus you have to mess around with the XandY axis for the portrait.
