My pick is Transformers! Did not Dissapoint!!!
-
Just letting you know Spiderman is up there twice.
-
spiderman

I hated Spider-man 3, Shrek 3 was alright. Simpsons was awful, as was FF4. I'm not a huge HP fan, and I haven't seen Ratatouille, so my vote goes to Transformers. And it wins by a very large margin
And you forgot Pirate's of the Caribbean
-
its between Spidey and Transformers....I guess transformers did the best.
-
Hmm, let's see...
Not a fan of the Shrek movies so I didn't see the third one but I did see all the rest.
Spider-Man 3 was good but did not meet the par set by the second movie. The Simpsons was a'ight but... The Simpsons in general just aren't as funny as they used to be 10 years ago. Fantastic Four 2 was disappointing because Galactus was a piece of crap in the movie and there didn't really seem to be an actual good vs. evil story. It's just the Fantastic Four running around, eating crap... oh, and then comes Dr. Doom. Transformers is the worst of the bunch. Biggest train wreck of the summer and an utter disappointment. The first hour and a half was full of bad jokes that only 13-year-olds would enjoy. Then the second hour is where the humans stop talking (for the most part) and the Transformers take over and start fighting. The thing is, the Transformers characters aren't properly developed (especially Megatron who doesn't show up until the very end) so you could care less about any of 'em... 'cept for maybe Bumblebee.
So that leaves Ratatouille and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Well, Ratatouille was good but I don't see why it had to be done in 3D. It seemed more like a movie that should've been done in 2D. There's just not enough flair and eye candy to warrant a 3D presentation. Harry Potter didn't have as much action as the previous movies but it's solid enough to win my vote. Besides, there's a kickass fight at the end.

why isn't their buorne ultimatum that movie was awesome but anyway i pick transformers
-
Transformers without doubt.
-
Transformers was best for me, best summer movie since T2 I'll go as far to say. I'll say 300 was the best movie of the year though, as well as best Comic adaption.
-
More than meets the eye...
-
I dunno about "summer movies" especially since we don't all get the same movies at the same time, but from the films I've seen this years, hmm...
300
Live Free or Die Hard
Transformers
I have yet to see Shrek or Simpsons and am dying to see The Bourne Ultimatium (which is not out in Germany yet).
Transformers struck me as internally inconsistent, with some really weird out-of-place scenes. And the German version ruined a lot... but it was still kind of fun for long parts.
Edit:
Heh. I forgot Spider-Man 3 and Pirates [...] 3. Two bad third parts, both of them. Oh and 28 Weeks Later. Too hardcore for me. XD

Shrek was pretty horrible. Probably the worst movie I've seen @ the theaters since Charley and the Chocolate Factory. Simpsons wasn't really disappointing but that's because I wasn't expecting much. 7/10 stars to me. It was like watching a really long episode of the Simpsons.
-
go to go with transformers...............all the way
-
Is it really even a contest anymore. Transformers pwns all.
-
Summer movie huh? Im gonna go with Bourne Ultimatum. I just saw it and it rules.
-
What about 300? for me, its between that and Transformers...SPARTANS, TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT...FOR GLORY!!!

SIMPSONS! *homer spin* And Pirates 3 was GREAT. You just sad about the end. I like Transformers too but it went off focus a few time, still fantastic.
-
u forgot rush hour 3 :(
-
I know it came out in the spring, but my pick is TMNT, sorry that movie just felt more natural and down to earth.
-
I still have not seen that movie(tmnt)but its on dvd now so going to buy it
-
You're gonna buy it and you haven't even seen it? That's a gamble right there. I'd rent it first.
Wow, I'm still shocked to see so many people vote for Transformers. Our standards just keep dipping, don't they?
