funny because here it works fine, if there is some kind of bug on endlevel models, that should happens again after defeat fisk.... waiting for more feedbacks, and thanks for help and sorry for that, i tested this game several times, but like i said, no error here.....

looks like somes pcs crash when use a branch code, so i uploaded 2 version of game, somes features are cutted but this way everyone can play it.

if you had problems, plz test it and let me know if works now.

wait, spoke too soon
after beating up fisk, i transfered to little forest location with iron fist (he is dizzy at first, then fighting) completing this location, i transfered back to the gate location, forcing me to beat the stage again from this point
(after beating fisk second time, all good, stage complete)
it looks like i cant beat the stage until i visited this little location with iron fist

ps.seems to me that only xp users have problems

yea, i tink the same... i cant just ignore xp users, lot of people still use, also will not wait for a engine update,

v0.91 added, this way you will not play at fisk tower twice.
just to be sure, at some point of fisk levels, u quit game and then loaded a save game to finish it?

Tested it under Wine in Linux, and it runs almost perfectly. The sound is messed up at first, but eventually (normally once the game actually starts) it all works out.

BTW, how did Wolverine sheathe his claws? I did it by accident, and couldn't figure out how...

wolverine plays different,
he only does his attacks:
F,F+A
U,U+A
D,DF,F+A
if you have energy at mp bar, so all this attacks spend mp, to recover it, you should play without claws for a while (D,D+A)
whiout claws you play a little more faster, but cant grab, defend and does less damage.

ok, beat the game with the Iron Fist version... no problem either...
also no problem with the helper select

i almost shed a tear watching that video! lol this is definitely a great game from what i saw and i can't wait to play it. reminds me so much of that marvel superheoes beatem up for the snes. keep up the great work!!

I played up to stage 6, some characters are fun to play as (Spiderman, Vision, Thor, Wolverine), others seem to be missing half their movesets (Punisher,Cyclops, Nightcrawler). Surprisingly no errors for saving iron fist.

Seeing it is a 1.0 release with like 30+ characters, I'll take it for what it is and enjoy. Thank you zvitor!  :thumbsup:

Really?  I didn't find Nightcrawler lacking at all.. he was actually pretty fun to use.   I'm just curious, what is it that you feel he's missing?   Given the kind of beat 'em up game that it is, what else could he have done?   I think, for the type of game it is, that he used his power just great (especially the D,D + Attack move... I was hoping Zvitor would hive him that type of move for his power move.)  His regular teleport special move comes in handy too, especially in groups of enemies.  He can move quickly and attacks as he re-appears.  The cool thing is he does a sort of split kick that hits both sides of him.   He might be a little weaker than the rest of the cast, but he more than makes up for that with speed and mobility.   I think Zvitor did a fantastic job with Nightcrawler in this game.  :)

Please understand I'm not being a wise guy here at all, I really am just curious as to what you think he's missing?

i tink iron fist error happens on windows xp, but im not sure yet.....

this guy did a nice combo with nightcrawler, his basic combo + dash attack + basic combo 9:35

and punisher is one of my favorites, his gameplay is similar to cyclops, you need some pratice to keep enemys far with his specials.

i tink all chars have some good point to explore.
anyway, my goal was not a ballanced roster, just like comics, i dont want to see a char like black cat so killer like hulk.


.... tip of day:
at hard and story modes, look for bishop at sentinel factory and for human torch at street sky level.

Ok, I played through Story Mode and Avengers team mode. Awesome job on this. Favorite characters are Captain America (duh), Hulk, Ms Marvel, and War Machine. Playing Hulk feels like you're actually controlling Hulk, which is strange for a beat em' up. Really good job ZV, this is now my favorite Openbor mod out there. Only wish I could throw it on the Wii. :thumbsup:

i dont tink war machine a great char, i die a lot with him, but i like to play with him, like his moves in this game, 
 i tink a hulk just need super jumps + area attacks + high knockbaks to feel like hulk....

Only wish I could throw it on the Wii. :thumbsup:
i need to release one more small update, i just want to be sure there are not more error on fisk tower, then i will release .pak file at lavalit, so you can play it on other systems.

what you guys tink about difficult of game?
i setted 3 lifes and 10 continues to story mode, i tink is enough, but i saw 2 Playthrough at youtube, and this guys die a lot, and probably will not finish game...

hard mode, i know.... is hard, but is not impossible, 9 lifes, after beat final boss i still had 5, probably because i know where i setted somes secret lifes (tip of day 2: they are in somes maps at same place where SoR games set they secret lifes)


and team mode, is a bit more hard then story, usually i lost 2 lifes only at prologue, but have lifes enough imo.

Really? I think War Machine is awesome. Only thing I would change is his jump attack. And the difficulty thing, the only level I had problems with difficulty was the last stage. I died ALOT. Maybe 15 continues instead?

EDIT: One character I wanted to like, but couldn't is Hawkeye. Maybe swap his Up Up and his Down Forward attacks?

Also, either that first elevator at Fisk Tower is crazy impossible to not die at, or I just suck. lol

i loved the game and moon knight is one of my favorites. i feel that all the characters are exactly how they are supposed to be. the only thing is to change ghost rider's hellfire to him breathing fire or make it closer because it's hard to hit the enemy. also make it everytime he uses his bike for a dash attack make it lower the special bar, kinda like wolverine when he has his claws out. other than that everything is great

2 info i forgot to say:
- U and D you can select pallet, just in case you never palyed openbor before.....
- a engine bug, lets suppose you save your game at stage 5 with wolverine.
later you load it, you still playng with wolverine, BUT if you die, at continue you only can choice 6 first avengers chars, until stage is done and you goes to another select screen, after that you can die and select any of unlocked chars.

I must not have played long enough with said characters, the nonexistent grabs for some characters is what my issue was.

I love the gameplay and the engine you put together, playing bor for around 7 years now seems refreshing and not like a 3 hour punch fest like some of the earlier mods available at the time. Huge fan of your work, I approve of this game and I'll continue watching your skills improve even further.

From the sidelines of course. My words are easily misconstrued.  :|

No no, you misunderstand.   I wasn't under the impression that you were trying to start trouble or anything.. I didn't take it that way.   I was merely curious as to what you thought was missing that's all (maybe you had something unique in mind that I wouldn't have thought of).  There were no hard feelings, sorry if you were made to feel that you said something wrong.  That wasn't the intention.


@Zvitor:  You're welcome.  However, I'm the one who thanks you.   I was very happy that you put him in the game.   With all the characters that Marvel has to offer, Nightcrawler could easily have been over-looked lol.

there are more talents in game,
one great spriter named WOLFbroo (never heard about him before) is doing a fantastic fantastic four....
human torch and the thing is done, waiting for more,
jhfer did a lot of enemys not used yet, and completed guardian sprite sheet, so he should be playble, also one of his char already sprited are at ending of x-men team mode.

got a few questions:

once you beat the story mode all chars should be unlocked?  Well mine are only unlocked at the beggining  of the avengers stage then once you beat whirlwind it only lets you pick the limited ammount of chars you had before you beat the game. ex

start story mode all chars unlocked
beat whirlwind now only have avengers and xmen is this how it's suppose to be?

when selecting team mode what are the grey out screens suppose to repressent?

nopes, you unlock all chars to play at hard mode,
to story mode still same chars,

but there is one engine bug, if you beat the game all cars are load at memory of game, so thay can be selected at first menu of story mode, or maybe at select when you use continue... but that may bug at load game, if you save story mode with dr doom at stage 2.

so, you beat game and quit it, if you start story mode, only 6 chars there, then you quit it, play danger room, it load all chars to game memory again, then back to story and all chars will be there again, didnt figured how fix that
anyway, is nt a serious bug

is not a upgrade, is the .pak file of game, so you should download engine to your system (pc, android, dreamcast....) and put .pak file there....

in the beginning of bor story mod means modification from the original bor game
nowadays mod means module, and open bor  creators/collectors can store many modules(games) they want in their pak folder

since the games are not a modification clone from the original bor game anymore, now they can become an entire new kind of game with scripts and such

How about adding more famous characters in Marvel First Alliance in the next update, such as Jean Grey (Phoenix), Magneto, Rogue, Scarlet Wich, Emma Frost, Iceman, Nova. I know there are many here but it would be nice to add some of them. :)

each run average 6 sprite, 30 chars + 8 new chars, + possible 3-4 new stages * my productivity per hour k = 4,72 to sprite and y= 19,7 lines of code, reduce it to coefficient of ps3 + 3ds, result is: Someday

I love the spritesheet looks cool, but i would rather see some villians get some lovin, its cool to have a large roster to play with but if they are just gonna be random street thugs with nose rings and leather jackets that they are beating up, I'm more thinking that dude could be abomination, more focus on villains, even annoying ones like grey gargoyle, or the tinkerer, kingpin, tombstone, mandarin, basically anyone that can be created, with minimal sprite effort will make the game more unique, and enjoyable to play, when i see street thugs from the 80s I'm over it, but if they were ninjas of the hand, acolytes of exodus or magneto

good advice, do playables is the fun part of process, but i will keep my mind open to villains to my nexts sprite researchs, btw, which marvel minions i missed at first game? ima soldiers, skruls,.....

yeah i think if it suits the character and does what they do, then it's good with me too, she looks great, not only that, it's only recently that jean grey has been getting some attention in games (might be due to the umvc3 or the x3 movie) but either way, well deserving of in my opinion her being the original "marvel girl" the most central character in the x-men universe im glad zvitor didn't leave her as a npc

if you need any villain ideas pm me i'll come up with some ideas/examples

Gambit Update:

Somes chars need a overall revamp, Gambit was so slow at first game, speed incressed and added a air attack easy to chain with sprites from x-men 1 genesis game, and run + run attack from x-men 2 clone wars.
He have red eyes now, and effects are pink (not purple like at MFA 1)

Also, like a Jean video, im doing tests with zoom at hyper attacks, thanks ilusionista for this script.

Nice! Gambit's aerial attack was his main fault, but the char is the best one to play the game to me. If the jump+down attack doesn't knockout the enemy, you can combo it on jump+attack move. Great update.

About the zoom, I didn't know you would use it. We had a hard time to make our game looks different from yours, but if you will use the zoom too, they will start to ressemble each other again :(

Don't get me wrong. I just wanted to make sure our game looks different from yours. And since your game is older and already released, people will think we had copied it.

Iplayed your alpha, Just the design is enough to sell it like different product. and games looks different, even zoom is differet, no hyper effect or pause feeling, since it is more rare at your game, because mp is used to several movements, looks more like a hyper, at mine is more like a breackout, i added one more button just to breackout, so it will incress differences too..... but have similarities too, like all openbor games, or like all marvel bor games, thats not a big deal.

actually i didnt added ant-man like playable, or even thought about it, because same sprites will be playable at your, thats why i want him just like helper.

And about what people will tink, thats why we gave credits when we use something from a friend.

jubilee is a nice choice to helper.... but if someone sprite her enought to be playable, why not?

Iron fist won, and jhfer finished his new sprites, so he will be next char i will work,

news feature:
- 4 buttons, Attack, Jump, Block and Special, because D, D + A dont response fast enough when 10 enemys are punching bag you, so to all chars it will be a way to avoid this attacks, be invencible and consume MP bar.

- jump 5 (just the hulks)
will have the D + A attack to fall fast and smash enemy heads

- jump 4 (flyers)
If press Block at air they will hover, you can control him at air and choice best moment to attack

- to somes jumpers and flyers
thanks to a sugestion of rafhot, i added to somes jump attacks the jump back after hit, just like psylocke and beast air attacks at snes x-men mutant apocalypse

- nightcrawler and vision blocks are not really a block, they turn unhitable at same place to avoid attack, so now if you walk and then block they will teleport forward, (i know, vision cant teleport, he will enter at ground and emerge at another place)

I already played the game with EVERY character. The characters whose I said "need more stuff" are:

Juggernaut
Vision
Venom
Collossus
Nick Fury

Juggernaut his so freakin Slow, but REALLY slow.
Vision, is a good character, but its kinda, bored.
I like Venom like any other character, but his moves are boring. his F,F + A is like Zangief's Lariat. I want to see some Non-Physical attacks in Venom.
Collossus is big, slow and boring.
And Nick is... simply boring.

Not to offense, only my opinion to make the game better *-*

Yeah, Colossus really need some love. He is slow and his moves are hard to hit.
Plus, some super armor would be fine.

There is a way to make a non-infinite super armor:

Look at Hulk at my game: one simple can't knock him down with a simple attack.

Also somes new features, i saw several gameplays at youtube, and players just dont use block like i do, so somes chars will have a counter block (foward + block) and normal block will still while player hold block button.

and survey still open, actually hold block was a common sugestion from there.

yea, and improved it a bit more, will not be a counter attack, will be a counter escape, i was testing and was cheap counter attack, and a attack made with block button sounds weird,

another pose and dark screen, will do same for spider-sense, anyone else should have a power like this?

some feedback from the guys at work

they hated it when they picked punisher by mistake...they didn't like his hyper

maybe he or nick or both can call in a "favor"

I feel the same about Elektra, even though I like her it's just that she gets owned when she tries her hyper

I wish there was a way to control Cyclops head during optic blast like on sega...I know that you more up and down on the map but maybe it could work after you hold attack button

have you thought about environment hazards like Ollus's is doing with his BOR...maybe on part of the omega red stage the floor could be slippery

just wishful thinking...but us agent...change his chest to match his costume and shield and instead of a pistol giving the flaming sword he had once upon a time

maybe give rulk a new head

maybe snes spawn sprites can be used to make doctor strange


and finally

jubilee either NPC or Playable

found on new stage...mall...arcade room...life crates and barrels are replaced with arcade cabinets.

I think punisher snes game/arcade game has these sprites

But i was wondering, is there anyway i can change the stats of the playable characters myself (because while i feel Juggernaut's stats are perfect, Colossus's stats are kinda lacking... especially compared to characters like Beast). Both of there power levels are at 4 & that's kinda strange seeing as though Colossus is much stronger than Beast??? :-??

Rouge looks awesome...I was just thinking man it would be nice if Z added her. The closest we came for animated beat em up was sega. All that's missing from xmen is cable bishop iceman. Hopefully cable and iceman can be summons. I really want dazzler but it would depend on how you feel about clones. Which shouldn't be too big a deal with us agent being in the game. I hope he gets to be a little more different for this sequel. Finally depending on threat I would like to see someone really obscure like warlock. That is thanks is the boss. I know war gems has their sprites along with the magus and a cleaner she hulk.

i should upload a list with all after finish roster.

about leader stats, only top ones will have uniques NPCs, others will call only agents, (like us agent), and chars with 1 point at leader will not call any NPC, usually it is for guys who like to fight alone, like hulk....

after see this gameplay video i notice something, the fear to choice a bad char,
if you pick a colossus, and you cant figure out how play with him, if you die you must start game again from begin, because if you die at loading your save will be stuck with colossus until you finish the stage, if you die you have continue, but it bugs sometime at openbor, so one more feature will be added, at begin of all levels, i will add a circle like mua to change char and re-start level

for sure, and i will make it work fine, different from red skull, i will put 4 DLC spots at game, this way when i release DLC after game release, they will not overwrite so much files like at red skull.

and when time comes, i will do a poll to everyone vote, and at least 1 of DLCs will be the winner of pool.


they worked just fine in ultimate alliance and eoh.  and infinity gauntlet.  I might just be taking a stab in the dark but if you played z's last game it looks like the next boss is thanos with the gems.  that is no ordinary threat.  I wouldn't mind seeing adam warlock also join the roster.  we got a lot of xmen on the roster already(partly my fault) we need a few more heavy hitters.

they are overpower if compare with main marvel heroes, and best thing at marvel is because they heroes are not so powerfull like at justice league.

maybe nowsday, but in past it was not so much interesting,
they are overpower if compare with main marvel heroes, and best thing at marvel is because they heroes are not so powerfull like at justice league.

that bike looks great kudos to the artist...I liked the old one too, maybe you can put a johnny blaze on the old one to come out when he calls on the radio.  that is unless ghost rider doesn't have any leader points, but I think if he was in trouble in the 90's he would ride with john blaze.  I guess it depends on which ghost rider this is in the game.

Hey Z this is a suggestion ghost rider i saw the new video love the new bike looks amazing but i think instead of that fire uppercut he should have a fire chain attack where he grabs his chain and fire lights up and whips it at people and a hellfire attack basically breathing fire out the mouth good range attack also iron fist should have one or 2 more chi attacks one should be similar to ghost riders uppercut or a sweet fire kick or chi kick but that would be awesome but its a suggestion friend i love how this game is turning out  :)  :O*D :o =D>

I think you should think outside of the box if you have just 2 spots. She-Hulk would be a too obvious option.
Guardian would be cool. Tigra would be cool too (she will be on my game too).

I plan to make something like this: on dark stages, Moon Knight (and Nightcrawler) will have a bonus of stealth. The enemies won't see they walking.

all chars spawn anim is running at left edge of screen, so  i fliped stage or they fall when spawn
....

Love the new stuff from the punisher. question Z the battle van he calls what do you think of this suggestion, instead of the ak47 which looked awesome he has a rpg launcher till he gets knocked down, the Ak47 as a special till he either falls or dies and will he and fury run or no? Also the gun he pulls out I think a little rapid fire would be sweet like 3 bullets just suggestion friend :)

First off I love the idea of Using Juggernaut's snes sprites. It makes him look imposing rather than a guy in a rubber suit.

Secondly, I notice punisher doesn't have a throw from what I've seen in the video. Would openbor support his Jump+attack midair throw? Reason I asked was because last time I followed openbor (5 years ago) there was no code for such a thing to work.

Zv, I noticed two things:

- Wendigo's attack is misaligned (check how his feet moves while he attacks)

Look at Tiger Shark Hulk & Tiger Shark - Avengers United Battle Force (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xPaSCNVyBA#) On my old beta which you have, look at Golem. The difference is that Golem jumps high to try to land where the player is, where Tiger Sharks jumps not so high but is quicker in X plan.

Congrats on your 666th post warecus!  :D

On the subject of storm, I always think of her MVC character as a good gameplay base. Being able to fly in and out in a hit and run style seems perfect for her which plenty of range added in for good measure.

Shocker was pretty good but lacked a good jump kick and running speed. I look forward to his additions in tonights video. He was always one of my favorite spidey villains.

i did somes changes to storm,added bloodb' blower script to her knockback attack, added a special which freeze all screen, and i made her lighting more fast... but i dont know ... still missing something, i did a long research for wind, lighting effects.... any effect sugestions?

About the suggestions for the Storm:
The lightning could be different and produce a flash and the sound of thunder.
The weather darkened.
Some skill involving ice or snow.
The knockback could be a small Funnel that appears beneath the opponent attacks it.
And I know she does not have enough physical strength to lift the opponent but can lift it easily with wind, the proof is herself all the time she's flying. So I think she might have Throw. :thumbsup:

And I cannot wait. However magneto never did much in Mutant Apocalypse, he just floated around and threw stuff at you. Might require a decent amount of frankenspriting to make him a full fledged character.

I saw this and it made me think how invincible magneto can make himself at times.

He does the same in the beginning of Konami's X-men game. Will he be able to fly and guard at the same time? It may be a game breaker but in every fight I've seen with magneto, he always goes for the high ground.

Says something about his character as well since he feels that he is above the human race that fears him.

Z I have an idea I just watched your iron fist video I notice his sprites are Scorp from slam masters. I think this would be cool he has a taunt where he moves his arms around pretty fast I think that should be used for iron fist to change his chi to power of the dragon. He should have a new special like a super fire dragon chi of energy and should have one new attack like a fire kick attack what do you think?

 Incredible!! I think the Lightning of the Storm is very fast but sometimes it's not to see. I liked all the new hypers.

I think thor's special and hyper are too similar he should keep his lightning special but the hyper should use those tornadoes from samurai showdown like O wanted for Storm, but Storm is perfect now (except can't see lightning strikes).  Maybe for thor use tornadoes like marvel vs Capcom 3.  what changes vision got? kinda seems the same as last time...he was not as cool as others.  vision block too similar to his special....maybe should have laser hyper like your superman from your jl vs sf

Gotta admit, those touch ups are smoking hot!

War Machine and the Flying levels were a sore spot for me in the last release. They both feel more natural now.

Amazing! Absolutely Amazing!!! Z you are impressing me with every step you take. Wolverine looks really good, Thor is (OMG) great, War Machine is A :Terry  and Storm blew my socks off!

Everything looks fantastic, there's only 2 things that kinda bothered me... Thing & Vision's power stat. Hulk & Juggernaut's power is at 6 and in no way is Thing as strong or as powerful as either of them. It would be great if you changed Thing's power stat to 5. Vision's power stat is at 5 and i just don't see him anywhere close to Phoenix (who is a 5 as well). Vision's power stat could be changed to 4. I really don't mean to nitpick, cause what you've done with this project has absolutely taken me & several of my friends breath away... luv ya 4 that! Could there possibly be a way to change stats or level yourself up in game... now that would be the icing on the cake 4 me.

Honestly z spidermans leadership should be at a 4 leader of the secret wars and new avengers gambits jump and agility should be both a 5 ghost riders range should be 4 hawk eye jump 3 wasp is not a leader give her a 2 lol iron fist strength 4 archangel strength 2 range should be 4 wolverines jump and agility should be 4 leadership 3 beast leadership 2 actually outside of wolverine cyclops storm and magneto all xmen chars leaderships should be between 1-2

Juggernaut's Life = 6 (They call him unstoppable for more than one reason, he once took a blast from Thor's hammer that made Galactus squeal).

Colossus Life = 5 and his Agility = 3 (Pete's very agile for a character his size and very durable to the point he is sometimes called invulnerable). He should also summon Bishop instead of Puck (because they were both members of the X-Men Gold Team).

She Even tense been used as base pra jubilee, as these characters have few movement or would you remember the Jubilee. It would be good to reduce a little the number of times that the iceman appears.

Everything about this video reeked of awesome.

Juggernaut can walk around with an enemy in hand, his run can plow through enemies and he ram into groups with ease. The new stages have some wonderful eye candy as well.

BTW: Perhaps you've addressed this but I see there are yet even more character slots. I'm not gonna ask who they are but have you finalized your roster yet?

In my opinion the Juggernaut is one of the best playable characters in the game. Maybe after he gets hurt, I think instead of him fall to the ground he could stand as if he had not felt anything, because it is partly a wall.

yeah in the cartoon is the ultimate continuity...so in mainstream marvel you know the one established back in the sixties never could do that. But I like what you did for the game because if you were to stay true he would be another moon knight.

black panther is like a super batman

but everybody know his secret

he and his country uses his tech

he is beyond rich he is head of state and the costume is really like a business suit meaning he can where it in a oval office meeting without looking goofy

it would be nice if you gave his helpers a vibranium glow around there weapons.  because right now it looks kind of like..I don't know

The wikipedia page of U.S Agent states his power is on par of a superior Olympic athlete. Sounds about right.

Regarding the delayed release date, I fully expect there is no timeline for this but given your excellent reputation for completing multiple things quickly and for the fact you made that awesome spiderman for AvX, I don't care how long it takes.

I know I will be receiving a well polished game from a guy who love games and loves making games to share with us.

for wolverine you can make a morph helper

I think all you need is stand walk and get hit and gun


he should work like bishop

shoot gun and when he gets hit he has chance to morph into enemy or take damage and fall down.

It's incredible what you accomplished by now. This looks like the best bor I ever seen. One observation: maybe you should add some explosion hitsparks when the alarm is destroyed. I love it how the raptors attack the sentinels. Good work.

though I wish everybody had secondary attacks


of course cap and hawk uses shield and arrows but

beast could have some drones
black cat like chars have generic missles
archangel feathers secondary can be charge attack
ms marvel and ironman hand blast and energy/em burst
jean grey can fly like ms marvel and shoot tk blast and maybe secondary can be tk shield for few seconds

hulk should be banner secondary should be drones like beast
rouge should fly like ms marvel but no hand blast she should have a increased super armor during this and punch and her secondary should be a ms marvel flying punch charge attack

Ok the savage land stage wow looks great now the drones and robots should not have a dying sound there machines they don't scream like humans lol. now the mini sentinels I think little eye beams should be a attack with them also the raptors and triceratops should only be in the savage land part. heading to the sentinels base on the train no raptors just sentinels and drones also I notice you made people fall off the train love that but the other side should have it where you fall as well. in the video cyclops was just using his optic blast till they die they should fall off as well. This BOR will be the best one out there :)

I like a few dinosaurs left in the factory and on the train...I mean it is in the savageland might be hard to keep out all the dino's.  plus it gives variety.  I want a large sentinel like the last and a t-rex boss fight

Your going on a train with sentinels and drones why should a dinosaur be on the train? also he put after the savage land part with the dinosaurs where you travel with the little aircraft getting close to the sentinel base. everything after that should be machine and sentinels it's balanced

it's still the savage land so whether or not a factory is there doesn't change that, animals have been know to cross into the more urbanized especially since it's a factory not a city.

but I think to vary more is to have savage land mutates, kaazar helper, killer plants and lava in the jungle part of savage land.

putting the trex with the mastermold is just idea to bridge the gap

you have two extremes savage dinosaurs rep primitive past and sentinels destructive future

if z just separated everything then he should just make them two separate levels

in other words I like his concept so far

or sauron and pterradctyls you can use sprites of the dragon morph from altered beast for sauron

other suggestions

cap faster better combos/us agent slow like red hulk and jump like red hulk, increase usagent knockback like green hulk, but strength stays the same.  that gives the illusion of stronger than cap and sets up usagent with a possible combo since he will knock enemy back to put in shooting range if you decrease his basic combo ability.

some kind of passive for Archangel's feathers

how bout cap's block work like gaurdian/colossus's block where bullets bounce off. how about  cap shield throw bounce between enemies. And black panther gets a glow like gaurdian except purple when he blocks and bullets bounce off too.  One of black panther's helper can have a spear or bow/arrow with purple glow since they use vibranium weapons and if you can make them both female...would make more sense since his personal body gaurd are female and would aid him faster.

Wolverine: beserker rage from first genesis xmen game for his passive when he gets closer to death (he just start randomly attack enemies out of control and dies if he uses his special while in the red).  Would love his hyper to be like the special move from the arcade game.
 
Winter soldier gets a shock grab for cybernetic arm.

flame on back of skycycle during flying missions these sprites are in avengers video game on the back of cap and hawkeye's rocket pack during flying missions

How about similar to Altered Beast except with infinity gems.  Have a hidden gem somewhere on each stage and if player finds it he gets either mind(faster refill of hyper gauge), power(stronger), time (faster), reality (get burned/get shocked added to normal attacks) etc.  At the end of each stage after or before boss fight Thanos stops player simliar to Altered Beast's main bad guy and takes gem back---all this happens only if Player finds a gem. to get what I'm talking about check out any gameplay of altered beast arcade or genesis.

Also reading up on savage land they are filled with beast men and mutates you can use tiger, bear, and wolf from Altered beast game for these enemies, you can use the buffed version of the main guy from that game as a base for Kaazar.  You can use sprites from golden axe for genesis of the guys riding dinosaurs be like your "motor cycle riding enemies" similar to your city stages.  Also you can use the dragon from altered beast as a base for sauron boss.

Last for savage land stage how about deadly plant, lava hazards, spears thrown at them from landing on booby trap area, rolling bolders.  sentinel factory random lights out where only sentinel lights(eyes/chest show), exposed wires for shock.  How about for sentinels when dead fly to peices like arcade game.  You thought about using xmen genesis savage land music or sentinel stage music from genesis for your factory.

stage helpers if you find them for each stage no matter who your character is like in avengers game or MFA 1.

ex.
speed ball for street level (also he needs a power besides kicking and jumping, can he bouce around the screen like his powers in 90's)

shanna she devil or kaazar for savage land

if you make a beach or peir level namor

cool, lot of sugestions and feedbacks, thanks:

- sauron would be perfect, i will try him later, pterradctyls too.

- i incressed usagent power to 5, so he can grab dinos and mini sentinels, cap dont do that, also it incress his knockback resistence, cap have one of better combos of game, default combo + U, U, A (2x if enemys is close) + Special or super.

- about cap block tobounce bullets, it is not possible (not at same way i coded bounce bullets at least)

- like i said my biggest reference to black panther was his ultimate cartoon, and i didnt saw females warriors there.

- wolverine beserker will work like jean phoenix, and i like his current hyper.

- Archangel i dont tink is a good ideia becuse i cant see him like a spammer, feathers dont should be a good attack.

- infinity geam, looks something really complex to do, on a roster with 50 chars, that means 6x50 special modes to be coded and loaded at memory.

- savage land is only half of one stage, and it already have a lot of unique minions and stuffs, rest of game diserve some attention too.

- speedball are at this rooftop stage, game will have npc helpers, but not so much because we already have Radio, i was looking for a base to she-devil, didnt found a good(easy) one, namor was already sprited by Maru, but he will be npc to story part 2.

- i like the ideia of sentinels fly pieces like at arcade game, maybe later i check how do it

you really need to check out all 7 episodes for black panther material...ultimate is not even close.....these are same episodes arkady referenced for char.

amigo this game is becoming the most inticipated.  I can't wait to see a play through by you and Gebirge.  One more suggestion that they had in the xmen genesis game is flying bugs/mosquitos in the savage land.  Would be cool if you took the bugs that the battle toads eat for health from their arcade game as enemies in addition to those flying drones during savage land flying mission

everything which im doing right now is so boring, so i will skip somes stages, like asgard and atlantis.
this leves was at my plans to part 2, but now i will not do part 2 like other mode,
i will add 2 more stages to conclude original story.
game had 27 levels, so far now it have 34 (without count the levels of 2 extra stages of thanos and blackheart), and with all new projects features, im sure play mfa levels again will not be a boring experience.

prison break stage is done, added water movement at background, a prision basement level, and removed Sentry from cells, but still have to add all custom pain/fall anims to enemys here.

will try finish SHIELD stage this weekend, then i should try code the missing chars and i hope it bring some animation to finish this game.

release: some day at january.... maybe.

Decent changes Z, i can see Red Hulk's power at 6 & Gambit's range at 5. I can also see Venom's power at 5 considering he is much stronger now than he was before... but if you are talking about characters who have gotten much stronger... than Colossus needs more love.

I have a sinking feeling that all these superhero stats are taking away from what Is supposed to be a great anticipated game. Fan feedback is cool and all but zvitor seems to have made it clear he wants to wrap things up.

I didn't know MFA2 and all it's characters were based solely on the 90's era... i thought since you upgraded Venom based on how strong he is nowadays that maybe some other characters might get that same treatment. My Bad... didn't mean to offend... u know i luv ya!

I still feel hulk should be the strongest in the game, it feels now that what made him unique is not so anymore because everybody getting power boost, now red hulk is 6?  why pick green hulk? red hulk has no weaknesses now and a gun and decent hyper.  as oppose to green hulk being the same strength but having the banner weakness...oh well

exactly, i can say hulk still better he cant shot a gun, but his clap have a great area effect to control mass of minions, same to earthquack, have a better range then red hulk explosion, also hulk get a dive air attack, which make him more effective at air, range stats dont have a specific rule about how i set it, but looks like hulk diserve more points there thanks to his area attacks.

That good that he returned to work, she hulk is incredible, not only curti very the last special, could be something exploring their his acceptably muted powers do include.
A suggestion: She could jump and fall to the ground giving a shot or a thump with strength, hitting good part of enemies around.

This is going to be possibly the best beat em up ever, after Streets of rage remake of course.  :thumbsup: My only gripe is silver surfer or iceman or plenty of others could have replaced us agent. With Cap in the game I see no real use for him or reason to play as him. Not to many us agent fans to begin with. Z your awesome and you are putting out better content then MARVEL themselves.  :cool

if i had to choice between silver surfer, iceman or us agent to roster, us agent would be my last option, i just did him because he was easy to do, while i didnt had a cool and easy base to iceman or silver surfer.

i dont have any plan to add more chars, even like DLC, this is final roster.

Keep in mind that for sure he wants to add more char, but its not an easy task. Specially wehn there are tons of people to suggest a char, but few to actually help him to make it.

why you don't add diamond attacks to diamond back, like her throwing explosive diamonds, poisoned diamonds, etc?

in x-men remix, you could add elements from others games of this serie, like:
hellfire club stage remix from wolverine adamntium rage
apocalypse stage with elements from sega genesis's x-men
add more x-villians in danger room (like blob and pyro, from x-men arcade)

in kingpin stage, i see white palletes on the hand's  ninjas (colors used by the light order, rival group of the hand, in daredevil's comics. Maybe, they could be NPC's in that stage).

firestar will be present in maximum carnage remix?

if you want add asgard stage in main story, you can do thor suggest to heroes go into asgard, to meet Odin for try discover the whereabouts of thanos (maybe, consulting Mimir).

About fantastic4 remix, in old PSX game, we had:
Level One "Attack of the Molemen!" - Boss is the Mole Man.
Level Two "Subatomic Nightmare" - Boss is the Psycho-Man.
Level Three "The Last Days of Skrull World" - Boss is the Super-Skrull.
Level Four "Atlantean Attack?" - Bosses are Namor and Attuma.
Level Five "Is the World Doomed?" - Boss is Doctor Doom.
in this game, after the defeat of the boss, without the loss of any player life, there is one of three bonus rounds. The fights here are set against Dragon Man, the Incredible Hulk, or Iceman.
You already planedd add doom and namor stage , right? You could add dragonman and hulk.
You could add too, the U-foes (with similar origin of FF).
She-huld would be playable in this mode too, once she was a fantastic four member.

suggestion for FF levels:

underwater level to get to doom castle, to get around human torch's fire you can have a bubble around whatever char you choose.  Implying that they are invisi-bubbles.

enemies doom bots, recolored namors (blue green), boss namor.

then make their way from dungeon to upper castle.  Just two levels.

Zvitor, first of all congrats on making probably one of the most ambitious BORs yet and exceeding all expectations!

Secondly, I don't believe I asked this again this time around but will the classic xbox support MFA2?

The recent Simpsons game on chrono crash uses more memory than the xbox has to offer.
