I think i may have to do a DVD box set hunt for all the episodes to replace the ones i have on VHS packed away. I gotta Get those and these new ones that they did over like the one you showed. I only did that for one cartoon series and i literally have em all. Thats the Transformers G1 DVD series Even the 1986 cartoon movie. but anyway great post man.

How can you not like Goku's voice actor? Apparently he passed out going Super Saiyan once, because he wanted it to be special.

@Rage - The Orange DVD Funimation Set had really great voice acting, everyone fit extremely well and put a hella lot of thought behind character inflection and delivery. I think if they were able to get that team to do this and Goku & Friends that wouls be great.

Lol what.. so you'd rather have a girl voice 5 male characters.. (FYI... that's Bardock, Goku, Turles, Gohan, and Goten.)
I grew up on the english dub. I hate the japanese voices, a lot of them do not suit a lot of these characters IMO.
read the manga for this a while ago havent watched the anime. hoping for a dub also since dbz is one of the only animes i prefer dubbed. lets be honest alot of the voices were annoying in the original %-(

Its Japans style and i respect it. I dont like alot of the english ones, cause sometimes they sound boring as heck ( Needless anime english Dub *Iceman ThumbsDown!*), while the japanese ones give a good sense of energy to them that the english ones sometimes lack. plus i dont mind reading at all, its fundamental. :D
