Since DT is having computer problems, I'll be hosting the sprite of the week contest for a couple of weeks.  :(|)

Contest #23's theme is...

"The Later Years"

Sprite an old version of any character. Any Marvel, DC, Capcom, SNK, etc. character is fair game. Some sources of inspiration could be Sic 1's Grand Master Ryu WIP and Mark Millar's Old Man Logan series.

Same deal as before when DT hosted. PM me your submissions only in png or gif format. All submissions should be in by midnight Friday, CST.

I will not accept sprites that are just palette swaps . You will actually have to do some alterations to the sprites or make them using a different base than they are .

Good question. I guess not.

In the case of someone like Bao from KOF, yeah, an adult (20-30) version would work.

Yes , I want to publicly thank b.easy for taking over here until my comp problems get worked out . At home I can only go online shortly , if my computer actually boots , it dies pretty quickly . I really have been so busy at work , that I haven't been to the forum in a few days . I now realize I used to do a lot for work on my home comp , so I had time to screw around at work . Now I don't .

Anyway , I hope you all support the comp still with b.easy taking over for a few weeks . That's a pretty good theme  :thumbsup:
