Alright, let's try this again.

No more clones, new sounds, pal issue fixed (12 pals in all, one done by Mew), and a few other things done to her. Hope you guys enjoy her. :thumbsup:

Oh, and if anyone can make her a kick @ss AI patch, I'd really appreciate it. ;D

Almost forgot to mention. The Ivy is a bit mediocre, those sprites of her were only meant to be place holders but I completely forgot about them and it would of taken a week or two to update those. So, instead of waiting for me to update those, I'll just do it a bit down the line now. Just know that those weren't meant to be the finished products of her sprites.

FINALLY!!!! I have Harley Quinn on my roster lol.  Last time i could have had her but i was minutes late. Well im gonna try her out and ill come back with some feedback.

great job, i can't believe this is your first char! she is one of my favourites now  :P nice to see there is no clone problem anymore, her sprites are amazing, and her voice kills me.. nice to see you added the dc vs m portrait too.. all she needs is a better ai, the quinnzarro special, and the amalgam (spiral harley?), maybe a few little things like shocked status, but great char! thanks for sharing!

edit: her select pic is messed up, i couldnt fix it with fighter factory  ???

just acouple things i noticed(im in class right now so i cant take ny screenshots of it)

her clsn in most of here attacks are to big and illogical, her basic clsn in her walking is off.
In all of her hypers, the hyper bg stays on for to long.
Poisin ivy gives debug spam.
the cammy asualt hyper(because it looks like it) gives debug spam when p1 hits p2 with the last grapple slame attack.
Her meele hyper, doesnt connect 100% of the time in the last attack.
The rocket launcher hyper doesnt hit p2 when up close.

its all good tho, her animations are real smooth.

congrats on the release.

Just a few things

Her walking was taken from Mika exact, which was Zarro's preference

Second the Killer Bee adapted from Cammy hits differant based on p2's position, and does a variation of the move depending on the location. To my knowledge thats exactly how the origional works in the Cammy I used as basis for the move. I'd be happy to impove it, but since the move works that way I'd need advice on how to do so. Im not sure what slam you means doesnt hit 100% of the time, but I hadnt noticed that problem myself. Any advice on this move is appreciated though, as I wanted to improve it from the Cammy I used as base code, but no one had any advice that I could find.

I did notice in Debug that the Ivy helper shows a bug, but I see none in gameplay, so I let that go for the beta.

I did find one glitch however..when Harley does the headlock/bulldog throw on the Joker he shifts positions and looks like he's standing on her shoulders.

I just like that move, and want it to look good. How it looks obviously depends on how well P2 is programmed but agaist a properly coded character like Ken, or Ryu, does it look good??

ALEXIQ I've tested Harley against alot of char and the bulldog looks fine. The only one I have seen a problem with, as I said above is Joker. But you addresses that earlier.

Once you have the new port go into Fighter Factory scroll through the sprites till you get to the port, make sure youre in the sprites, the Icon up top with a little guys head. On the left side of FF theres a toolbox, one of the tabs is the change sprite tab. Click it, and you should be able select a new port.

If the grab/bulldog looks good on other characters and the targetbind is coded exactly where p2 should be, then the issue's most likely the Joker. There are 2 things to check. First, check his constants, which is on top of the .cns. Try to adjust the head.pos, mid.pos, height, etc. and test to see if characters interact with the changes based on how the sprites look. 2nd, check the required sprites, especially the one that's used for p2 during the grab/bulldog. Could be that Joker's misaligned. Best way to determine that is to open up Kung Fu Man and compare all of his required sprites with the Joker's. Hope this helps.

I actually adjusted that, the cork guns are exactly the same animation frame time as the boxing glove in this latest release. The flag is slower just to add an element of surprise to it. I guess it just may seem like its slower but technically its the same speed.

Appreciate the feedback, and that was my exact thoughts. Batzarro still feels theres something not quite right about it, he didnt seem to mind I just couldnt figure out what he means. There is a shift in P2 position, going from headlock to the sidelock going into bulldog but that was done purposely, otherwise it looks like lazy coding to me if P2 doesnt adjust with Harley's movement.

Other than that I can only think its how p2 bounces onto his back on impact, but since Im dependent on the states P2 can do within required sprites its the closest I could get, and as far as I know thats how Mika's is done too :-??

Its gotta be either a 256 color bitmap or pcx, if not converted right, it may cause colors to become transparent.

I like your port a lot, but Zarro's vision of the character is to use all MvC edited stuff. I think you could safely allow people to download it in the graphic arts section if you wish. If I were you I would see if someone wants to do a similar style hyper portrait using comic art, and offer them up as a 2 pack. so people can customize Harley if they choose.

Alex: I'll try posting screenshots of what I mean with the bulldog later.

Stallion: Thanks for giving people alternate options to the select pic. Like how it looks as well, but I'll be keeping the one I made. The select pic I made was actually way bigger and a full body shot, but it turned out to be way too big for in-game. Will resize it later on to fully use it. :)

The SFF had some sprites with misplaced colors and it took away a little from palettes. The CNS actually still had the clone problem, but it was really rare to run into. Now, it no longer happens. Hope you guys enjoy. :)

As for the bulldog, it actually does shift but only with certain characters. As mentioned Joker was one, and the Scruffy Superboy is another, I believe. Not sure where the prob really lies though as it doesn't happen with everyone like I first thought. :-??

Yeah well you deff did it wrong then, maybe you didn't decrease the colors. Im not sure what you did wrong, but it looks fine in the screenshot i posted.
