Hey all, while the IMT has been working hard on a gross number of releases for later this year, we also have a little surprize for this summer. Our good friend BambaMugen sat down and took some time to add a blow up filter to over 70 mugen characters and he was kind enough to share them with all of us in the mugen community. So for all of those who are running a version of mugen with only high res filtered characters then we have a treat for you. Over the course of the summer we'll be releasing about 25 filtered IMT characters, which will be followed by more than 50 filtered patches to some of your favorite mugen characters out there already. At the end we'll also release the BambaMugen screen pack to hold all this great stuff in.
So please stay tuned, this little party of ours will be here soon.

Well if they are HD spites (filtered to HD, obviously) they wouldn't be even graphically compatible, as 1.0 has 720p capabilities, Hi-Res does not. Also that first post has a lot to say.
Great to see this, so far I have Blackheart and that's it.

yeah, but to work with 480p or 720p makes many changes on the codes, because the coordinates changes.
(and this will get even worse when Mugen 1.1 is out, because there is no p1,p2,back, left options for explods, you need to put some equations).

may i plz ask why some versions were chosen of similar chars over others? for example, in my opinion (which i know is only that), i would have preferred this treatment being applied to kong's cyclops and gambit over redhot's.

BTW... I just got off of a three day weekend and work is really crazy buzy, so to make up for a slow mugen day and a no release Monday we'll release 4 chars by then end of the day, if not over lunch time then sometime this evening.

Nope, first we took a break for the other release party and now I'm just taking a small break because I have done a lot this year for mugen and I need to sit down and play some MvC3 and read some good books.
