Lol, all that game really needed was some multiplayer, and they've fixed that. Absolutely resell it.

All this "return to retro style" trend by software houses is making me a bit sick.
People seem to love it, but I honestly find this is a patethic move by those who rely on the past to move on in the future. Connect this with the recent menace of lawsuits to emulation sites, and you'll get the main idea. Or maybe I'm just paranoid. Anyway, if I want to play some authentic beat'em'up, I load up my MAME and play it. How could people pay for something that's already available (and in a more authentic form), for free.  /:O

@mulambo, with news like this https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/eu-parliament-copyright-memes-latest-vote-internet-article-11-13-a8534121.html it might be not for so long available for free or at all.
But anyway, they are providing new content, improved graphics, support for modern console, maybe PC as Wild Guns Reloaded now available for PC. Not everyone played it back than and want to bother with emulators.
Also don't judge this one in line with others, it means revival of Natsume and old titles they had. If it will be a success Natsume is planing to breathe life into their other franchises maybe like Power Blade which may lead to proper sequels, if they get enough money to risk. It's very important for developers who where at the beginning of gaming industry to not die, but continue and with all those great titles behind them nonetheless.

I know about that, but  It's too late for big companies anyway (those which probably paid big money to EU, so some stupid nazi at Nintendo's will filter stuff... lol!).
About developers: well it's a hopeless effort. Most people are dumb, they buy on compulsion. Most people don't give a heck about an underground game, big money is made by selling stuff like FIFA19... I think retrogames (or anything like them) should belong to the "free" world, while leaving all the mainstream trash to the dumb money-filled mass.
Supporting the selling of retrogames (or anything like them) could mean bad things in the future. SNK and CapCom may say, for example, "Hey, let's do what Nintendo already did! Let's ban MUGEN. Yeah, we said we didn't care, but times are changed!"
This world is mad.
