The Smash to end all Smashes. It all looks insane, and I admire how ambitious it is.

That said ... I'm not sure if bringing back every Smash character is a wise idea. Mainly the characters that I thought were cut out for a good reason (ie Young Link and Pichu)

They've similar but mechanically different. Main link doesn't have hook shot on his grab this iteration (since BOTW didn't have it) so Young Link plays more like classic link.

Pichu's electric attacks do more damage than pikachu while taking damage.

I still feel the hype bomb when the roster was revealed. The name alone sealed that hype. Also, Daisy is finally here (I expected her to be an Echo of Princess Toadstool).

We never had a wii-u or 3ds so im glad everyone is back

They confirmed that in the Direct, she's #13e.

They should lean in harder on Echos now that we've acknowledged they're a thing.

Like Princess Hilda (Zelda), Ken (Ryu), Zack (Cloud), Mr. L (Luigi), Impa (Shiek), Shadow (Sonic), Ms. Pac-Man (Pac-Man)

So I watched the Smash Invitational 2018 yesterday and I gotta say, I thoroughly enjoyed watching hi-level Smash now. I believe this will be the game to unite the Smash Factions. Here's the Winner's Finals & Grand Finals Match between ZeRo and MKLeo

Most excellent. I've been saying for 20 years to put Belmont in. I'm excited to try him. I also ways said the King Crock would be a neat idea too.
I think Nintendo hit most all the major original Nintendo franchises now. I think all that's left now from original Nintendo would be Master Higgins from Adventure island, or Arthur and Firebrand from Ghosts and Goblins. Unless they do more with Capcom stuff like stuff from the Megaman series or bionic commando. I'd say lets hope for Bomberman but we already know that's not gonna happen in this game. The villain from F-Zero might be nice too.

I'm not a big Castlevania fan, but I am glad to see Simon and Richter make it in. I think Castlevania is a series that deserves its spot in Smash

K.Rool was my big highlight; he was a character I've wanted since Brawl, and he looks even better than I ever expected

Also going off of Sakurai saying there's more to come, I'm going to guess we're gonna have a Smash Direct once a month leading up to the release

I thought about it more. How about Meowth or a Team Rocket Pokeman trainer? Or Bubble Bobble, Blaster Master, or Ninja Gaiden?

My personal number one pick is still Master Higgins.

I was saying to my friends since Brawl came out to add Richter to Smash. Symphony of the Night gave him all the stuff he needed. I understand why he's toted as the Echo fighter, but I'm super glad Sakurai realized leaving him out would be a disservice, especially how he mentioned Simon is flat out STEALING Richter's uppercut and Slide maneuvers.

That being said, I still expect Shadow as an echo since Knuckles replaced him as the assist trophy, and I CANNOT BELIEVE Shovel Knight is just an assist trophy.

Definitely. I'm shocked Shovel Knight hasen't made it in either. It's a newer character, but hey Bayonetta made it in as a character.
Yea Shadow as a echo fighter would be cool too. The Richter echo fighter is a nice touch too.
Now that I think about it I am kinda surprised there's no more sonic characters like Tails, Knuckes, or Dr. Robotnik.

Well they probably don't want each 3rd party company to have more than two reps, and Sega already has two (Sonic and Bayo)

And honestly the fact that Shovel Knight is in the game period is kind of astounding, especially for an indie character. Yacht Games seem to be taking the news well, why not us too?

Sora is specifically NOT Disney. If he was, I'm sure he'd have Donald and Goofy in his Final Smash. That being said, I do wonder how much they had to pay Disney for Mickey keychain...
