WHAT IF: Disney characters become Capcom street fighters!!

Through a series of artwork over the last few months, artist Michael Villamejor has melded the worlds of Disney characters with Capcom-style fighting video games.

He calls the series Pixel Princesses, which features Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Anna, Elsa, and even Slave Leia among others ready for battle, showing off their special moves.



























Most impressively, the Pixel Princess fighters have all been created on his iPad Mini. Here’s the process he uses, from sketch to completion:



His pixel art expands beyond this series into other Disney-inspired works, including a Star Wars take on the Partners statue with Mickey Mouse:

I remember these, I saw them some time ago.  I always thought the person did a great job on them.

These look very interesting, although Pocahontas looks a bit too angry and like Psylocke still haha. Overall they're very neat ideas and kudos to the artist for making them.

Lilo/Stitch and Leia are my favorite. Lilo/Stitch actually looks like it could be a playable character. That would be pretty cute/awesome.

Also agreed. I also really like that Snow White, she would make an interesting full character if someone ever made her in that style, with a poison apple attack...and a seven dwarfs hyper, of course.
